They were never wicker and they're part of the relax line not coco. The Easter Island room is going to be impossible to navigate because of the grassy stacks.

they do and that's the entire problem. if you cast your mind back to a joint habbox/hffm event you will remember that one of the hffm rooms had a room just like this and it was a nightmare to navigate regardless of (or indeed because of) the circles.

Most of the large scale events rooms are created by Habbox i.e. Hogwarts etc so they have furniture available to create rooms like that where as standard events rooms are created by the individual events organiser where they don't always have the kind of furniture to create events rooms like that. Also most of that furniture in Rakkers design is pretty standard apart from the items such as the majestics, nellies and dragons, all of which aren't that expensive and Habbox already has quite a few of them available to them and any thing else they need is often donated and then returned to the individual users.

O/T: I do really like the Rakker design however I feel that some of the furniture doesn't belong in the room. The floor is burgundy and the sofas match them however the majestics and HC draping are a totally different kind of red and don't match the floor. As much as I love the majestics and feel they should be in every HxHD layout, I don't think that they're the right furniture to be used where they're currently being used. Although having said that, seeing the room as a whole may look fabulous but at the minute they really stick out like a sore thumb to me.

Just seems like a massive room with a lot of quite expensive furniture. But looking closer I guess a lot of it might be in BC.

I'd really not rather have that design again soon. I know it appeals to a lot of older members but honestly it just alienates new users who may not even have been born when that kind of room was popular... And Habbox isn't exactly reeling in the new members as it is.

I agree. My design was rubbish and I only submitted those two because basically nothing else had been put forward in this thread. I actually struggle to believe people even voted for it it was so generic. Any chance of us seeing the results for the poll?

There's a whole department dedicated to building rooms but the one main room Habbox has and you choose not to use them? I can understand if there was a really fantastic and achievable room submitted in this thread, but this time there wasn't. Times like that should be when Room Builders are put to proper use.

None taken; I agree lol. It was originally an event room and most of that area was covered in seats, fridges and rock dividers. I submitted it because I think one other design had been submitted and the cut-off date was fast approaching so I just shoved it in.

I also much prefer option 3, which was also taken from the design of another event room.

The results are generally always shown at the end of the poll to see which has won, didn't realise it wasn't until told otherwise. Layout 1 and Layout 5 tied, layout 1 was 1, layout 5 was 2 and 2 came out. The room builders have been currently helping me with rooms for Earth Day and honestly, not many are active - which will obviously be sorted.

the only thing i dont like about the current one, or at least whats annoying me the most: the forest walls slope, indicating going up a hill, but there's no hill in the room. I'd prefer it if they were all just flat. We all know the top of forest walls are the best looking bit anyway so we dont have to see the trunks behind the desk

personally think its too big, problem with hxhd is that most of the time we'll have 4-6 people in there, so with such a large room i can imagine it putting visitors off if they see it seemingly empty.

also not that keen on the mixture of grass and water, grass is overused enough as it is, but we are already using a grass-y themed hxhd and the boat seems much more suited to a beach room. thought about a beach theme? would suit the boat/water better and summer is coming up too. hxhd staff might have an issue with how the desk seats are set out too.

that actually looks amazing. It's original and different! The only thing I'm not keen on is how the stairs leading up to where the staff sit are a bit hidden. If they stood out more then people might be more likely to sit up there. Love it though.

I think the marble tiles should be used uniformly (replacing the tiles at the left area) or vice versa, the tiles at the left area used uniformly, replacing the marble tiles

Also the brown tiles I wonder if you can make the switch to cobbled stones as they're a bit out of place with the koi pond :P

cobbled can do, but might be a bit square, will try experimenting with grass stages as they might shape better.

i don't like the look when the walls shrink along with the stairs, and having small building blocks is a bit weird. can use one of those arrowed signs if you want people to know its walkable though?

If I look at any individual part of the room I really like it, but altogether the room doesn't work. There are too many lines of furni used in one place, too many different types of flooring that don't fit together.. Why is there a lone marble tile in the middle of all the grass patches? Same with that random rock seat thing in the middle of the marble/brown tiled area. Jungle flooring looks strange and out of place next to lake and the tiles on the other side.

If I look at the desk area on its own I do like it. We've not had anything like that before and I'm sick of people giving in and just using rock dividers with stump stools behind them. I like the fact it's covered and I think the little flower beds in front work well.

I always love Sakura trees but here I think their colour makes them stand out too much against everything else. It seems odd that there'd be pink trees in a room with jungle patches, but then it seems odd that there'd be trees at all on the marble/brown tiles (willow tree in the corner).

So yep, I really like individual aspects of the room and I LOVE the whole desk area, but when you put all those things together I don't think they work :) Still, better to see people actually bother to try and come up with something than end up with no choice at all when we have to vote.

i think it's really cute! only thing i would take issue with is with the size of desk, might be difficult for hxhd staff to move around if the chairs are full (LOL AS IF etc)

I quite like the concept of this room. The actual desk area is cute but I think the roof needs to be adjusted a bit. The beach area is a nice contrast but I think it could be made a little bit smaller (as it drowns the actual desk area).

yeah I agree with a lot of these points actually, it isn't colourful because of the moodlight so most likely having background off (because I also doubt the HD would have a whole room moodlighted like in the picture) so that a bunch of other colours can be incorporated in the design and I also tried to have the whole thing covered with the water like the part at the top, I just wasn't able to do it and I'd also like to point out this wasn't planned I just threw it together when Absently; told me nobody else had submitted designs for the new layout

I think its very nice. Its cute, I like that there is lots of places for people to sit.

I really like the surfboards in front of the help desk.

I like how the help desk is in the middle of the room, and so is the main focus of the room like it should be.

This is soooooo amazing. I was unsure for a moment because I thought it looked huge, but it's really a wonderful size and not too large. Many places for people to sit which is good! Well done on this!

wanted to do a summer beach but kinda got sick of tropical, thought we could do british.

mostly happy with the pier itself, there is a big open square for events at the bottom of the screenshot (more of it hidden), the water is also hidden by my crappy screenshot skills. gonna add maybe some sort of rock seating under the pier, and some inflatable furni. thing i'm not sure about is how to get people up, the diving board teleports people down but not sure of a good way to get people up apart from just a banzai/teleport/keyword.

obviously criticism is FULLY WELCOMED! if you like the concept then come help make it fabber.

Plebings; I really love your room design but I don't think the seating is very "community" friendly? They're all kinda just spaced out on benches and not really letting people sit near each others, as the benches are along a strip, and there aren't that many of them. You did say you were going to add some sort of seating near the rocks, so maybe there, as the pier on top looks a bit narrow to add this?!

nice room but events area is a bit too out of the way (can't you bring it to the left of the pier, since it'll be in use a lot during hxss?) and the room is a bit long as it is. not a lot of seating as james said but i guess you're adding more into the bottom. and the stone jetties down there look odd idk if you're removing some to add water or what but there looks like there's too many of them

I agree with Kyle. It's a great room but the end of the pier looks as if it's hovering over nothing and just looks weird. You should have wooden pillars all the way along as I think it would look a lot better.

I actually really like James' room as well. The idea that the desk is in the center is great and makes it stand out.

the stairs should be black instead of pink that just looks too much to me, but overall a nice room, i love the walls on the upper tier they're really cute what are they called

also not keen on the wall on the ground floor, with the lights behind the anna walls or whatever is there, looks ugly

Jellyfish; there are walls that are "sky-lined" but they don't fit the room as the ones I was going to use were from the Olympic thing, with the garden type of wall. The rest need to be bought (including b/g toners) which I don't want to do if they're not going to be used.

Also, Lewis; the seating I'm on about was regards to Matt's question about the chairs near the door teleport.

Whoever said about the door teleports, I only had them teleports so they're a make shift essentially.

wanted to do a summer beach but kinda got sick of tropical, thought we could do british.

mostly happy with the pier itself, there is a big open square for events at the bottom of the screenshot (more of it hidden), the water is also hidden by my crappy screenshot skills. gonna add maybe some sort of rock seating under the pier, and some inflatable furni. thing i'm not sure about is how to get people up, the diving board teleports people down but not sure of a good way to get people up apart from just a banzai/teleport/keyword.

obviously criticism is FULLY WELCOMED! if you like the concept then come help make it fabber.

its nice but these kind of designs are getting to mainstream like the grass patch and the forest walls always are used. We need something really unique that will possibly keep users wanting to say cause of the unique design i.e plebbings' design!

its a cute design but i have lots of complaints that i cba even type out IE the dandelions/weeds/daisies are ugly af and the marble/brown tiles and stone tiles part should be substituted with only ONE kind of tiles
