yes I agree I absolutely hate AFK chairs as it just encourages people to sit in the room and never never speak. looks pretty miserable to any newcomers in seeing 15 people in the room and absolutely no discussion whatsoever.

Those are the updated version of the room. The savannah would probably be removed and changed into a nice grass area or something.

There was a small design by Sammeth or w.e that I really liked but I think the general complaint is that "it'll get too busy!1!1! and crowded" even though they are 104 tiles and the max room limit is 50.

People generally put them with petals and it's just so ... generic. I prefer themed rooms. If thrones were used in a cabin kinda set up then maybe I'd change my mind!

Looks like winter and it's well enough made with the outside bit and all but it's not Christmassy, it's another big cold stone ski cabin reception like we've had so many times it might as well be classed as another old school layout. Also none of the Christmas items look like they really fit, especially the wall decorations. To make it work as a whole you'd need to remove all the Christmas stuff, which obv ruins the point of a Christmas layout

no these are so dull! generic is not A GOOD thing, people seem to like designs such as the one we have on client a lot more and quite a few people have shown interest in the current design and said it's v cosy and nice to be in between events, (as well as bring used for help when it's needed obv) a more generic and bland design wouldn't have the same result

i agree and thankfully we have Plebings; who is always full of great ideas and this was the reaction we had gotten with the christmas design this month (and november oops) and it is the way forward for how it should be designed!

it's nothing about size though, it's about design and utilising the space of the room. your rainbow one isn't huge and you make use of the space perfectly, would much rather that than one with lodge and other ugly furniture. people are always saying what they want but they never act on it, they just resort to old designs out of laziness. Lewis; you are the only person who has that view who has actually went and designed two rooms to cater the sort of help desk they'd want voted in, one better than the other which i've made clear but it's better than not trying at all!!

I think this would be great for February for Valentine's Day especially with the use of Parisian furniture. It's not the stereotypical one for Valentine's Day with the over use of Heart Chairs, and Romantique, which I think makes it better. I think the size is great too.

That was simply for a Christmas design, I haven't had time to change the outside layer, but I had mentioned to Matt and Cerys, about changing the theme to match the month, i.e Halloween, Easter etc. I agree it should all be cabin tiles, but I didn't have the correct amount of furniture to do this, and I could not find them anywhere. I even asked Matt for his pmsl.

That was simply for a Christmas design, I haven't had time to change the outside layer, but I had mentioned to Matt and Cerys, about changing the theme to match the month, i.e Halloween, Easter etc. I agree it should all be cabin tiles, but I didn't have the correct amount of furniture to do this, and I could not find them anywhere. I even asked Matt for his pmsl.

yeah just some changes you can make if it is voted on. it's a cute design too so if it isn't you can always re-enter it when there's a month without a particular theme, it's cute ya. outdoors change would be nice tho

the two different shades of pink in simons annoys me

if mine was used i'd hope to use dark grass

simen's layout is nice but I think changing the garishly bright pink steps to black might be a good idea as well as maybe expanding it out just a little. The original elements can be kept but it'd be nice to see bc block walls rather than the anna ones just to make it look a bit more like a real room and not things stacked on top of eachother

I was thinking the same about the crazy pink steps but I actually like the anna bars and think bc block walls would just end up looking the same as loads of other rooms - anna makes it different!

THE PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THESE IS THAT THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH RANDOM HEARTS AND ROSES. I know a lot of you people like clean professional designs but valentine's is entirely tacky and commercial and that's the whole fun of it :D
