Yes I agree, separating London and Kendrick was a mistake, to release London and continue Kendrick to go alone? never gonna' work.

Just read a few pages from here, not posted on the forums in a long time so I might come back for a bit (I was newWORLDorder).
-- Smackdown is the best WWE show, ahead of ECW/Superstars, then Raw.
-- The Raw guest hosts are pretty good.
-- Chris Masters has improved greatly since he left. His improvement (I would say) is better than the improvement The Miz took.
Wayne

I think The Miz's gimmick is crap tbh and I prefer RAW to Smackdown. :P
Octagon
01-08-2009, 08:46 PM
His gimmick is nothing special but you have to admit, go back to his debut on Smackdown as 'The Reality Check' (or whatever it was), and jump to now, his mic/wrestling skills are WAY WAY WAY better than they were.
Same goes for Masterpiece, although his gimmick is actually good.
Misawa
02-08-2009, 12:28 PM
The Miz is good on the mic and he's handling his push well. Plus, he's got a cool-looking finisher.
Chris Masters is essentially WWF Lex Luger II.

Miz is probably U.S Title material. I wouldn't go into any of the 2 major titles with him, he's a poo wrestler :P
However as we all know Morrison deserves a WWE Championship below his name, he shows great talent in the ring. His finisher (Star Ship Pain) is possibly the best move I've seen come from the top rope.

He certainly doesn't deserve a World Championship reign for at least a couple more years yet. He's still a mid-carder through and through. Only time will tell he can break out.
Octagon
04-08-2009, 12:20 AM
Not starting anything, but the people saying 'he cant wrestle' musnt have a very good eye for 'talent'.
Go watch a video of "Mike Mizanin" from 2006, and watch "The Miz" today, its a unbelievable improvement, give him 3-4 years, and he may just be on top of the WWE.
John Morrison, on the other hand, has already took his 3-4 years improvment, Tough Enough in the early 2000's, MnM, Single IC title, now he is going to be the main face guy on Smackdown, and a WHC title run in the forseeable future.
---
Also, dont forget, a nice, fresh change to tonights Raw, the match we have all been waiting for, possibly a Wrestlemania match come early, HHH vs. Legacy, AGAIN, FOR THE F*****G 1,000,000th TIME! :l

No thats erm.. R-Truth or K-Truth or something like that. He sings to his on theme and walks down the crowd and they shout it out too. All of WWE is rather bad now, and saying the Miz is near the top just shows how bad it is. They need to do something, this Guest referee was a decent idea but they need more.

I personally loved Raw last night. Some solid matches, a lot of good, laugh out loud moments. Jeremy Piven himself was great (apart from botching the name Summerslam as Summerfest, but all's cool). Dr Ken was superb and made the night for me, I guess you need to see some of his movies (The Hangover, Role Models..) to fully get the gist of him, so he does not seem like a bats**t crazy, flamboyant asian.
Awesome, favorite hosts so far. Looks like im skipping next weeks Raw, Sgt. Slaughter is boring, and its only to promote GI Joe. I shall just watch HHH/HBK vs. Legacy on youtube the day later.

As long as the hosts keep drawing the big ratings RAW's been getting since it began, they'll keep running with it. They'll probably drop the number of PPV events by 1 or 2, but will still run one every month.

09-08-2009, 02:20 AM
No, wrestling wrestling. They get the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental guys on board. Basically to see how they come across on TV as a deciding factor in whether or not they're ready to head up to the main roster or not. It's good, means you get to see a lot of fresh talent and action.
Wayne
09-08-2009, 08:43 AM
Ortiz got drafted to Smackdown in the supplemental draft. I really didn't like him that much anyway.
Also, I just don't get it with the WWE. They try and water it down, even by changing Cena's finisher from S.T.F.U to Attitude Adjustment and on WWE.com, they still call the Weekly Top Five 'W.T.F'. :/

Its possibly going to be one of the best PPV's of the year after Mania and Backlash. Jeff Hardy's (what is being predicted) final match with the WWE (For a long time), Swagger/MVP is going to be awesome, as is Ziggler/Rey. Dx v Legacy was boring as hell apart from the Dx entrance, Cena v Orton was a joke, with Bret Dibiase running in with Lillian screwing up claiming that Randy Orton is the new wwe champion? from PWTorch.com:
As previously reported, WWE has reached out to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson about hosting a future episode of RAW. To update, the ball is still in the former champ’s court, but insiders say they would be surprised if he agreed to do the show.
Apparently there are still some hard feelings over the way WWE let his contract expire without telling him, which is why some feel Johnson often speaks good of the wrestling industry in interviews, but rarely mentions WWE by name. Furthermore, he’s been badmouthed repeatedly within the company by some of his detractors whenever he’s made appearances, such as at the Hall Of Fame ceremony.
However, it’s not all bad news for Rock fans -- One source says the heat between WWE and Johnson is over exaggerated and is still under the impression that we should “never say never” about the possibility.

Hardy, 32, of 265 Boys Camp Road, Cameron, was arrested after a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release.
A joint investigation conducted by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to the arrest.
Vicodin and anabolic steriods are Schedule III substances, while Soma is a non-controlled prescription pill.

Hardy and his brother, Matt, wrestling as the Hardy Boyz, were six-time World Wrestling Entertainment World Tag Team Champion. Individually, Jeff Hardy held the WWE World Champion belt one time and the World Heavyweight Championship twice.
Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
His bail was set at $125,000.
Hopefully Jeff will get through this. Feel real bad for him

Would you say sting is the most successfull pro wrestler to never wrestle in a wwe ring?
Misawa
01-10-2009, 09:24 PM
Good question. He's one of the most successful. I'd have to think harder to find other names who have had great success. But that's in the West. Wrestlers in Japan are treated like Gods and practically everyone in the country knows who the wrestlers are, so matched with the incredible skill of various Puroresu stars, and their accomplishments, their stardom often outweighs American wrestlers. You look at Jushin Liger, the late Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi, Shohei "Giant" Baba, and Keiji "The Great Muta" Mutoh. They have each respectively had more success in their careers than, for example, Sting, and have never competed in a WWE ring. Though some of the above names have faced WWE stars in the WWF vs. AJPW Wrestling Summit of 1990, but that was in All-Japan Pro Wrestling territory, let alone their ring.
I'm going to be posting a Hell in a Cell preview and predictions column on Gerweck.net sometime on Saturday, with a follow up review of the event on Monday. Check it out.

i was generally disapointed with the matches, the only tw othat stood out were the big show and CJ v batsta and RM, aswell as the DX versus legacy HIAC match. apart from that is was quite a letdown, especially the other 2 HIAC's i was hoping for so much more especially from the undertaker CM punk match.
Misawa
05-10-2009, 07:18 PM
Each match was decent, but the booking was in the wrong order, however The Undertaker vs. Punk match was smart booking, as no one could follow a babaric hell on earth-type match, so the crowd would be dead for the rest of the show. However, Hell in a Cell proved too great a spectacle and the fans weren't into anything else. The event should have been No Mercy with one HIAC match.

05-10-2009, 07:59 PM
Legacy v Dx was a snore fest. Jerisho v Batista and Mysterio for me was match of the night. The ending of the Cena v Orton match was epic. The way Ortons facial expression changes and boots him to the head was brilliant. Really shows how pissed off Randy Ortons character is. However I am not happy with both titles changing hands, for a while now, the world titles seem like nothing because of the fact that they are changing hands at almost every ppv. Annoyed that Swagger didn't walk out the us champion. Btw Mickie James v Alica Fox wasn't a bad match

The Rock hints a return to WWE? :)
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson told the Jack Diamond Morning Show in Washington, D.C. that he is working closely with World Wrestling Entertainment to create a special edition of programming, and also indicated he has a "great relationship" with Vince McMahon.
"I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back and it's on Smackdown and do a promo or guest host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be," Johnson said. "Especially now, I'm at the point where I can go back and give back to the fans and help out guys in any way I can...
"Right now, we're trying to put together - there is always something cool and interesting for me to do. I would like to do something more than just host the show. I'm in the process of creating something really cool for the fans - something very special and unique. It will be something like one big entertaining show."

Misawa
12-12-2009, 10:05 PM
No, Jeff Hardy is facing up to 14 years jail time for the steroids, pills and cocaine residue found at his home about a week after he left WWE.
STAMFORD, CT -- World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced at last week's quarterly stockholder press conference that they would be entering the video sex tape market in order to expand their business and increase revenues for the next fiscal year.
On the heels of the enormously successful Tommy Lee/Pam Anderson sex tape in the late 1990s, many in the wrestling industry questioned whether such a product would translate well into the wrestling world. That question was seemingly answered after the success of the recent Sean Waltman/Joanie Laurer sex tape, which quickly became an internet sensation.
"We have an obligation to our stockholders," noted WWE CEO Linda McMahon, who is also one of WWE's main stockholders. "An obligation to continuously explore new business opportunities as they present themselves. This foray into the video sex tape market just represents WWE's determination to seize on any and all new avenues of revenue growth to lead us into the 21st century."
McMahon then ran through a list of all personalities within the company who would be asked to participate in the venture and exploit their personal relationships.
The first video to hit the market will be the highly anticipated sex tape featuring current WWE world champion HHH and his wife, Stephanie McMahon, who heads WWE's Creative division.
WWE color commentator Jerry Lawler, who has been assigned the duty of reviewing all sex tapes for possible release, was fielding questions from reporters at the stockholders meeting. "A huge, huge percentage of our audience wants to see HHH and Stephanie doing the nasty," he told ABC News. "Both of them have been going on the Howard Stern show over the last few years, answering all sorts of personal questions. Did you know HHH has no ball hair? Well, now you will. It's gonna shock the world when they see this."
The next tape to get released will feature WWE SmackDown competitor Booker T and his wife, formerly known as WCW Nitro Girl Paisley.
"What better way to get this marriage off the ground than showing the world how Paisley and I get down wit' it?" noted Booker. "We had a film crew there to capture all the festivities from our honeymoon. Every different camera angle you can think of, they shot it. It worked for Tonya Harding, and it will work for us."
For subsequent releases, other sex tapes are being considered. The decision will be made initially by Lawler, and then run by the McMahons (Vince and Linda) for final approval.
Also in the running are SmackDown competitor Charlie Haas, who married WWE diva Jackie Gayda late last year.
"I figure, why not?" Gayda told reporters. "The whole world has already seen me cheat on my old boyfriend during the first season of WWE Tough Enough. There really isn't much more to lose by having them all see me getting banged, slapped, and rammed by Charlie's hot rod. Personally, we're looking forward to it."
WWE wrestler Edge, who has been married twice, is in negotiations to release a video he recorded with his first wife, the sister of WWE wrestler Val Venis. "I just have to find the damn thing," said Edge. "I've got so many of those tapes, so I'll have to set aside a weekend to find that one. Luckily, Lawler has volunteered to help out."
During the conference, McMahon emphasized that sex tape releases will not be limited to WWE characters currently under contract.
"We spoke with Randy Savage just yesterday, and he said he might have an old tape sitting around with he and Elizabeth getting it on like jack rabbits. We'll be pursuing that with the family of Elizabeth. Royalties would be paid, of course," said McMahon.
"We're also talking with the families of Missy Hyatt and Madusa," she continued. "They both married Eddie Gilbert, and some videos might exist of them. Missy in particular might represent a goldmine for us, so we're talking extensively with her. Lawler and the Kat, that's a no-brainer. Jerry has been extremely gracious with us in allowing WWE full access to his vast sex tape library. Brian Pillman, Tom Zenk, Michael Hayes... we're talking to representatives from all of those parties. There has been talk of offering these as an add-on to our 24/7 project."
Not all WWE employees will be required to participate. Several personalities, including Mick Foley, have gone out of their way to express their disinterest in the project.
"Yeah, I've got footage of me slipping Colette the bone," said Foley. "I've got a 3-tape set, one for each Face of Foley (Dude Love, Manking, and Cactus Jack). But will I let WWE market them? No way. You have to cross the line somewhere."
Ric Flair has also declined to participate, noting that releasing such tapes may cause trouble with his marriage to wife Beth.
WWE writer Brian Gewirtz also declined, saying he has no sex tapes because he has never had sex. He will, however, consider releasing a video of himself ************ to the HHH/Stephanie sex tape.
"There has been talk of that, yes," said Gewirtz. "There's a huge ************ market out there that has, until now, gone untapped. This is my chance to be a real pioneer of something extremely, extremely pathetic."
Veteran WWE diva Terri Boatwright, who was married to former WWE wrestler Goldust and current TNA wrestler Dustin Rhodes, is scheduled to have her own special line of tapes released in 2006.
"We've got big plans for Terri," concluded McMahon. "Her sex tapes were not part of the settlement when we purchased WCW, where she did the majority of her film work. But we're in talks with Turner's organization about licensing the rights. The amount of film on just her alone is enough to warrant an entire line devoted to Terri. We're really excited about working with her."
McMahon suggested that they would be consulting with the members of Motley Crue and Poison for advice about how to market the tapes. Actress Pamela Anderson, who has appeared on camera for WWE in the past, may also be consulted with. "Hell, I might even release a tape of my own," remarked McMahon in her familiar monotone. "I've got plenty of tapes of me riding Vince like a bronco. And with Vince now confined to a wheelchair, that represents a whole new market for us, because believe you me, I get down with my bad self on his handicapped hot dog. Rusty trombones, dirty Sanchezes... the whole 9 yards."
Wrestlers from competing organizations are also on tap for the project. TNA competitor Kevin Nash, who dubbed himself "Big Sexy" during his WCW run, is being considered for his own release from when he dated Nitro Girl Chae. Diamond Dallas Page, who married actress Kimberly Page, is also being talked with.
"Remember when Nash joked that he was gonna 'Eat a little Korean?'" asked Lawler. "Well, we got it all on tape. DDP and Kimberly? Bingo, we got it. It's money in the bank. And let me tell you, we've just scratched the surface on this. There are literally thousands of tapes out there of wrestlers with having sex with women. The WWE fans and perverts around the world are in for a real treat!"
WWE's stock price shot up 4,995,346% upon release of the news.

Can't wait to see this, it sounds promising.. Wonder what ring it will be, the 4 sided one OR the TNA style...

I hate the six-sided ring. They had the traditional ring from 2002-2004. I hope they got back to it.

I love watching this match. It's my 3rd favourite wrestling match of all time.
My favourite was when Rock finally beat Steve Austin at WM 19.

well dx won.
tyson turned on jericho mid-way through the match
underneath his black tshirt he had a DX jersey on.
Tyson 'knocked out' jericho with a right, just like what he did to Shawn Michaels 12 years ago.

I never wouldve figured the whole Bret/Hogan returns thing would interest me so little. It's probably about time these companies stopped relying on bringing back wrestlers from decades ago in hope they would make a similar impact they once did.

Brief stints at a PPV or special event are fine but returning to full action (in Hogan's case) or for a prolonged period (Bret) doesn't bode with me at all.
Oh dear lord I can't watch anymore!
Hogan is killing Tna :(

Ugh, NWO back again... it's just not the same really? But its a good edition having Jeff Hardy at TNA again. :)
He aint signed to TNA yet though so he might not be around for long
If you've read the spoilers for the next few weeks of impact it's friggin' stupid!

I thought Jeff Hardy got arrested?
Misawa
23-01-2010, 04:23 PM
He's in court again next month, with a new added charge. Doesn't look so great for him. He still hasn't signed with TNA. I wouldn't be surprised if WWE just offer him a big deal and he comes back, purely just appearing on TNA to spite them for making reference to his arrest when he was gone to push CM Punk.
WWE are trying to negociate a deal with Jeff so he'll return for a match with Punk at WM.
Meree.
23-01-2010, 05:31 PM
At first there was rumours Jeff was gonna return in July to WWE but apparently got given a better deal at TNA. I'd love the see him back at WWE though, for me it isn't the same. :(
Misawa
23-01-2010, 07:35 PM
TNA can't offer Jeff a better deal financially than WWE. No way in hell, and never, ever would be able to. The only reason Jeff would sign is because they have a far lighter schedule than WWE, and Hardy's head doesn't seem to be in the game right now/ up in the clouds.

With all his legal crap aswel, the chances of him returning to the wwe are fairly slim
People act like he's the hottest free agent of 2010 but he's not.
I don't think many people actually cared to see him back in the impact zone.
WWE made him a star, a legit main eventer and him going to TNA is just a massive sign of unapreciation.
He doesn't deserve to be back in the WWE now.
TNA is a massive step down for him, going from main eventing WWE PPVS to having midcard matches on TNA.
