> VINCE MCMAHON'S HAIR UP FOR AUCTION
- Well it was coming sooner or later! Vince McMahon's hair which was shaved
during WrestleMania 23 is being auctioned off on the WWE Auction website. As
of this writing, 24 bids have taken place with the highest bidder at $707.50
and 9 days remaining for the auction to close. A note attached to the
auction states that this is not all the hair from the match but just a
portion of it. Of course, they can make more money by selling it in
portions. So if you want to have Vince McMahon's DNA all over your house go
to auction.wwe.com and bid on this 'historic' item.

Edge beat Mr. Kennedy for the Money in the bank Briefcase in a match last monday, and is a two time Mr. Money in the bank.
This week on Smackdown, The undertaker beat Batista in a steel cage match to retain the World Title, but Edge cashed in his MITB Briefcase & is now the new World Heavyweight Champion :)

WOW. That spoiler is immense!!
hah, yeah :P

Mr. Kennedy (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/mrkennedy/) had been counting down the days until he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and competed for a World Championship at WrestleMania (http://www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania/) 24. Unfortunately, with 328 days remaining until the March 30, 2008 pay-per-view in Orlando’s Florida Citrus Bowl, time has suddenly run out for SmackDown (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/)’s loudmouth Superstar. In addition to losing his Money in the Bank contract to Edge (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/edge/) on Raw (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/) Monday night, Kennedy is en route to Birmingham, Ala., to consult with Dr. James Andrews about his injured right arm and impending surgery.

Despite first injuring his arm during a WWE live event last weekend, the cocky Superstar fought through immense pain and continued competing in the ring. He even attended Raw at Penn State University this past Monday to update our fans with his Money in the Bank countdown, only to find himself baited into a match with Edge. Though never one to back down from a fight, the already-injured Kennedy hurt his own cause by accepting the Rated-R Superstar’s challenge, then trying to fight off his brutal pre-match assault. He was ultimately unable to withstand a Spear from Edge and keep his coveted Money in the Bank briefcase. Adding even more injury to insult, his valiant effort resulted in him tearing his right triceps muscle right off the bone.

No stranger to injury, Kennedy sat out much of early 2006 when he separated the tendon from the bone in his lat (back). Sources close to the SmackDown Superstar have said that he is so distraught over this latest setback, plus the loss of his title opportunity, that he may never return to the ring.

WWE.com witnessed first hand the tremendous physical and emotional toll taken on Mr. Kennedy; several hours after his devastating loss on Raw, the visibly upset Superstar could not bring himself to leave the locker room area. For a man who’s never been at a loss for words, it was very unsettling to observe Kennedy quietly sitting in a corner, his head in his hands as he mumbled to himself over an uncertain future.
Get Kennedy's Nice Guys t-shirt! (http://shopzone.wwe.com/Product_detail.asp?cat=cat-kenkennedy&productId=01-08366&cid=wwe_textad_Kennedy_sidelined_Nice_Guys_t_5_9)

Classic wwe.com, one of their best stars may never wrestle again, and they plug his t-shirt.
The only two contenders for the h-weight title are two of the worst in the business, Mark Henry & Batista. :(

Edge (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/edge/) may not want to get too comfortable wearing the World Heavyweight Championship (http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/worldheavyweight/) around his Rated-R waist. WWE.com has received word that the initial prognosis for Mr. Kennedy (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/mrkennedy/)’s arm injury was overstated. Based on Kennedy’s extensive MRI at the Birmingham, Ala. offices of Dr. James Andrews, WWE’s Dr. Ferdinand Rios now reports that the SmackDown (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/) Superstar’s triceps tendon “was not torn from the bone as originally reported and will not require surgery.”

Due to the severity of Kennedy’s hematoma — a collection of blood within a tissue or organ — he is still not cleared to compete from a medical standpoint.

“He’s still vulnerable to injury and the arm remains badly swollen,” said Dr. Rios. “I’d expect him to be out of action for about six to eight weeks.”

Upon hearing the positive report, WWE.com caught up with the former Money in the Bank holder. Though clearly relieved, he’s already shifting his focus from a likely six months of recovery time to plotting his next move.

“This is great news for me; I don’t have a torn muscle,” Kennedy said. “But the good news for me is really, really bad news for Edge. He took something from me…took advantage of my unfortunate situation. Now he and everyone else have just a short amount of time to worry about what I’m going to do when I get back.”
In a nutshell, Kennedy's injury has gone from 6-8 months to 6-8 weeks.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. The Great Khali
This match will truely suck.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Batista

Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels
Best match on the card wrestling-wise.

ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon & Umaga vs. Bobby Lashley (3-on-1 Handicap Rematch)
Backlash replay, this will truely suck.

2-out-of-3 Falls Match - United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. MVP
Good technical match, fued is getting boring.

Ric Flair vs. Carlito

Actually, they haven't drafted any kind of new contract. Their interest escalated with Rob Van Dam leaving the WWE in the summer and The Undertaker and Ken Kennedy's injuries, however, as Kennedy's injuries are not at all a major as they originally seemed, their interest has declined. Cena is underrated in the ring. He is no wrestling God, but he does have some talent. He's also great on the mic'. He will definitely defeat Khali though, although I can't see him pinning him or making him submit. Probably a dusty DQ finish.

But jesus, I know that it's a good move to put Khali over as this BA giant, but this is going to be the worst match in a long while. Lots of stalling most likely.

Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz was credited, or blamed, depending on your point of view, for booking Shawn Michaels to pin World Heavyweight champion Edge on his last night on Raw. Gewirtz's explanation was that guy leaving the territory, or brand in this case, has to job on the way out.

Triple H was the power behind the move because when it was questioned, he supported it, which made it close to a done deal. There is a belief backstage that Triple H doesn't want Edge to succeed, noting that he tried to block all previous plans of him to moving to SmackDown and winning the title until Mr. Kennedy went down with an injury, and at this point he couldn't reasonably block it anymore. There was vocal opposition to Edge being pinned, saying that it makes the SmackDown title and champion look secondary. Triple H's argument was that HBK is the biggest tenured star on the brand, and he had just put over Khali, and he needs a big win because he'll be wrestling Cena on PPV again within the next few shows. On the other hand, Michaels suggested doing a non-finish, since from his perspective, the key point of the match was for him to be beat down by Randy Orton to promote their match for tonight at Judgment Day. Michaels said he didn't want to bury the SmackDown title but was told it was Vince McMahon's decision and he wasn't changing it.

As you might imagine, Edge wasn't pleased with the booking decision and he wasn't hiding his dissatisfaction backstage that night. Edge is said to be happy to move over to Smackdown because internally it's considered less political, not to mention that he doesn't have to deal with a certain wrestler as much anymore.

Dave Meltzer is reporting today that Shawn Michaels has a blown out knee. HBK missed last nights house show and is going to try to gut it out tomorrow night at Judgment Day.

This injury is considered serious. This is absolutely terrible news for WWE as there have been a ton of top name injuries as of late.

WWE quietly released Beth Phoenix from her contract early last week. She was told that creative had nothing for her.
Behind the scenes, Stephanie McMahon, was never a fan of her. She felt as though that she didn't have the "WWE Diva look" due to her inherit bulkiness

In addition to WWE announcing the releases of Scotty 2 Hotty, Ariel and Nick Mitchell (Spirit Squad), PWInsider is reporting that WWE has also released developmental diva Angel Williams. Williams had been working under a WWE deal for Deep South Wrestling for years and was recently brought up to Ohio Valley Wrestling. She was slated to be brought up to the Smackdown roster numerous times as a replacement for Jillian Hall in JBL's Cabinet and as a manager for The Gymini. However, none of the plans worked out.

WWE issued a statement on their website confirmed the release of former ECW World champion Sabu, something which has been almost expected to happen for weeks now. According to one source, the plan for tonight’s ECW TV was for Sabu to put over Kevin Thorn. Sabu balked at the idea, claiming he had a neck injury.

There are some in the locker room who believe that Sabu arrived late to the tapings on purpose this week, expecting to be sent home since he’s made rumblings that he is unhappy working for the company. This isn’t the first time he has arrived to events without his gear either, including a taping a few weeks back where he had to wear Daivari’s gear.

There are rumors that there was some sort of incident involving Sabu which took place over the weekend in Cincinnati, but those are just rumors for now and nothing has been confirmed about the alleged incident.

As previously reported, Sandman has been in the same boat as Sabu for a while as far as backstage heat goes. At this point, nobody within the company would be too surprised if he was let go from his contract sometime in the near future.

One of the most surprising names released, given the amount of television time devoted to her, was Ariel, real name Shelly Martinez. The release appears to be related to a backstage incident involving Martinez and Batista at last Tuesday's SmackDown tapings in Baltimore, Maryland.

The two of them got into an argument in front of a number of talents while watching the taping on a monitor backstage. Whatever the argument was about hasn't come out yet, but the feeling among those spoken to was that Martinez was defending herself against Batista. Seeing how she was on the wrong side of things politically, she ended up in the crosshairs of the company. When push came to shove, she became an enemy of Batista, who happens to be a friend of Triple H, husband of the woman who can now fire you.

Stephanie McMahon, who is now in charge of who gets fired and who gets hired, was never a fan of her. She also felt as though that she didn't have the "WWE Diva look." It also didn't help matters that she was a talent hand-picked by Paul Heyman for ECW when it was originally launched, and as we all know, Stephanie absolutely loathes Heyman. All those factors worked against her and she was shown the door.

With the departure of Ariel, Kevin Thorn has been told that he may be receiving a makeover/new look, which leads some to believe that the darker/vampire elements of his character will go away. There were a few people who felt that since ECW writer Dave Lagana isn't one to rock the boat, he's going to go with whatever WWE management wants, instead of trying to fight for the characters and making it work.

Judgment Day has passed, but the shockwaves continue to be felt as the Superstars of Friday Night SmackDown enter Des Moines, Iowa.

Call him the ultimate opportunist, call him a cheater, but after Judgment Day, our fans better still call Edge World Heavyweight Champion. This week on SmackDown, Kane, Mark Henry, Finlay and Batista will face off in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine the No. 1 contender to the Rated-R Superstar's gold. Who will earn the right to face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at One Night Stand? Following Judgment Day, will The Animal roar into SmackDown on Friday, even more determined to make the champion a fresh kill? What will happen when the brand's finest compete for a golden opportunity?

Meanwhile, MVP’s “ballin’” all the way to Des Moines with his new United States Championship. After months of coming up just short of the prize, SmackDown’s “Franchise Playa” came up money Sunday night, scoring the most valuable pinfalls of his WWE career against the Rabid Wolverine, Chris Benoit. But wearing championship gold and keeping it are two very different goals. Can MVP keep the bling around his waist, or will a new Franchise Playa-hater be waiting for him in the ring Friday night?

In addition to the most exciting ring action in sports-entertainment, Timbaland’s “Throw it on Me” makes its network television debut on SmackDown. With summer on the horizon, look for the hip-hop master’s latest video to turn up the heat several degrees, especially since it features several of WWE’s most smokin’ Divas.

Expect SmackDown to sift through some very heavy Judgment Day wreckage this Friday night, 8/7 CT on The CW.

I know how matches work so I can't keep my eyes off of the guys talking to each other and undertaking the spots. For example, when someone's in the corner and the opponent Irish whips them, their head conveniently goes forward just before the whip. :P

Also, take note that it's more the WWE camera crew who make it look realistic, as when shots are thrown, etc, the angles change so you can't see them connect.

WWE News & Notes.

More WWE firings this week. Ariel, Scotty 2 Hotty, Nick Mitchell of the Spirit Squad and Angel Williams were all let go. Stephanie has been on a firing rampage since taking over as Head of Talent Relations, and most of the individuals released were people who she felt had no future in the company or, as she stated when firing Conway, were jobbers for life.

We didn't get any specific reasons for any of these firings, though I suspect Ariel didn't strike her as the type of girl that WWE needed to employ physically, and Williams was just another girl in a company with too many girls that is getting ready to run yet another Diva Search. Mitchell and Scotty were being paid to exist, basically.

WWE also released Henry Godwin. Yes, he had been employed, for quite some time. He had been tagging with Ray Gordy down in Deep South, but they brought Gordy up and teamed him with Fake Kane instead.

It's actually similar to when WWE tried to bring up MNM and wanted to team Johnny Nitro with Chris Cage to get Joey Mercury out of the picture, but Cage got hurt at the last minute. This was Godwin's comeback after having to retire following a broken neck courtesy a Legion of Doom doomsday device gone wrong back in 1997.

Vito also got fired within the last few weeks.

Sabu was released when he showed up for ECW TV last week with no gear and in no condition to perform. The word we got was he was basically asking to be fired. He's been on the bubble forever, and the feeling was that he'd probably make it through WrestleMania because they wanted him to induct Sheik into the Hall of Fame, and after that his future was anyone's guess. Once it became clear that RVD was likely leaving, that future looked bleak.

Speaking of RVD, his last night will be at One Night Stand unless WWE decides to pull him from that show at the last minute. It looks like there is very little chance of him re-signing at this point. It's not a definite that he's going to TNA as nobody in TNA is talking about him.

Of course, for legal reasons they likely wouldn't be able to talk about him much. He's saved his money and could probably make good money on the indy scene for at least a year, and a year down the road God knows what shape WWE will be in and for all anyone knows he could end up back and with a much better deal.

There was a wacky story this week involving a Blackberry phone that was found at a baseball game at Yankee Stadium in April and supposedly belonged to a WWE employee. At first, the story was that the person who found it, Louis Glennon Jr., downloaded a bunch of information from the phone, including phone numbers of celebrities, shared it all with a family member, and then refused to return the phone when WWE requested it.

WWE filed suit. Later, the story changed to where Glennon claimed it was actually Edge's phone, he didn't download anything off it, and the only reason he knew it was Edge's phone was because he called someone on the phone listed as "MOM" and Edge's mom answered. When deputies came knocking on his door, he claimed he sent the phone back to her but had accidentally put on the wrong address. It was returned to him a week later, he said, and he had subsequently re-sent it. This got a fair amount of press locally.

No surprise, but Smackdown was renewed for the 2007/2008 season on the CW.

Helms on his broken neck, to WWE.com: "It turns out that I have two cracked vertebrae, and one of them is pressing into my spinal cord. One is just demolished, and they told me that the pain I had outside my neck was pretty common; they call it pain referral.

One is pressing so far into the spinal cord that I could risk paralysis if I kept going. We get bumps and bruises all the time, and I’ve been to the hospital before thinking something was wrong when I was just banged up, so I thought that this time too. I have a high tolerance for pain, but this pain is 24/7." Surgery went well Monday and he was already texting people on his phone later that afternoon.

Ole Anderson on James Guttman's radio show said he was offered $1500 to appear on the Horseman DVD. He asked if Vince would be signing the check, and when he was told yes he turned it down. He said that in 1984 Vince told him he'd never work for the company again, and so he didn't want Vince to have to go back on his word and be a liar.

Victoria signed a new three-year deal with WWE. She also sold Fat Tony's Pizza, which she owned in Louisville, to a "nice Italian family" who came in one day and "offered an amount we couldn't refuse".

Matt Cappotelli wrote on his Myspace this week: "I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell everyone how thankful I am to have the friends and fans that I do. Your prayers and support through this time in my life has made a huge impact on me and I can't thank everyone enough.

God has been so good to me and the continuous prayers from everyone have been heard. Thanks for caring, thanks for praying, and thanks for not stopping. May God bless your lives and you feel His presence daily. See you all when I see ya!".

Colt Cabana is now in OVW.

The plan as of this week is for Snitsky to be a monster heel on all three brands, which is why his promo deals are airing on Smackdown and Raw lately. This could all change in a heartbeat, though with so many guys out of action it's a more likely possibility now than it was even last week. He may end up being the next big monster for Cena to slay.

Bob Holly should be back in August.

Looks like smackdown this week sucked.
Vickie Guerrero is the new Assistant GM, Mark Henry cut a promo, Batista interview, Batista beating two amazing superstars and Mark Henry who has about 4 moves.

So, ECW ONS's man events contain Cena, Khali, Batista, McMahon and Black Lesnar.
No thanks.

You do realise theres NO footage of Owen's death available? Theres pictures of him before he was about to glide 80ft from the air, & pictures of him in the ring dead. But no actually footage of him falling to his death.

Reason? At the time he was about to glide in, everyone was viewing the titatron where they were showing the fued that Owen Hart was in & the reason for the match. By the time they realised he was falling, no-one would have actually reacted quick enough to film it, it happened that quick!

Jill Jarrett, the wife of Jeff, passed away last night.

While we don't have a lot of details, she had been battling cancer on-and-off for many years and her health issues had gotten worse over the past two months.

For the past many weeks, Jeff had been by her side virtually 24/7. When she was hospitalized, he had been practically living in the hospital, and when he had to do TVs, he would stay with her as long as possible, they fly from Nashville or Orlando, do his segments early, and then he would rush back that night.

While most in TNA were aware of her situation to a degree and could readily see what was happening, he only talked in detail to a few people, such as Don West, hence some of West's comments on the air on television. I think some could see this, but the first interview Jeff did on the air when he came back was very emotional for him, for Mike Tenay conducting it and for West at the desk.

Jeff has young children and being someone in that same situation, I could only imagine what he's been going through during this ordeal. I simply couldn't imagine anything that could be worse.

Dave Meltzer stated on Bryan Alvarez’s Figure Four Daily audio update last night that Robert Szatowski does indeed own the rights to his ring name, Rob Van Dam. There had been speculation that Szatowski had signed his ring name over to WWE. Szatowksi can wrestle as Rob Van Dam outside of World Wrestling Entertainment.

As things stand now, RVD is scheduled to finish up his WWE obligations at the One Night Stand PPV in nine days.

Basically, when RVD does leave, he dones't have to change his ring name when he moves to TNA or whatever. Unlike when Paul White (Big Show) left WWE, he wasn't able to use the name as WWE had the copyrights to it, but this was to Paul White's relief, as the Big Show was his slave name to promote merchendise sales.

Paul White only got 2% of his merchendise sales 'cos WWE had the copyright to the ring name he was using, haha.

It's not going to be a normal RAW episode, it's RAW, SmackDown! and ECW with each championship from every brand on the line. "The Night of Champions". Should be good.

the draft lottery will be making its return on RAW in two weeks. There has been a lot of internal talk about moving Benoit to either RAW or ECW. Regal has been making a push for his move to RAW, as he wants to move away from tag team action. Mr. Kennedy was also rumored to make a move to RAW, but is doubtful. He is expected to feud with Edge upon his return. Another name expected to move to RAW is King Booker.

If you haven’t noticed recently, WWE has banned the shooting star press and the 450 press. Paul London did a shooting star plancha at a recent show and was told by McMahon if he tried it again, he would fire him on the spot.

If you are attending the June 11th edition of RAW in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania make a note that the doors will be opening at 6:30 p.m. instead of 7:30. This RAW will feature the draft lottery special.

Sorry for the double.

And the Shooting-Star was banned I think after Brock Lesnar stupidly attempted one against Angle at WM 19 ? or 20? Forgot..

The draft will basically push all the Raw "Lower/Mid carders" to smackdown & bump up a few potential Main Eventers to the Raw Roster.

Things are likely to get extreme on Raw as the flagship sails into Toronto, its final destination before One Night Stand.

Headlining a monumental Memorial Day edition of Raw, WWE Champion John Cena teams with Bobby Lashley to face the oversized and massively dangerous team of The Great Khali, Umaga and Shane McMahon in a 2-on-3 Handicap Match. A handful of days before One Night Stand, these five men will have a stand-off on Raw, but in what condition will these combatants leave? Is this all part of an elaborate web spun by the WWE Chairman?

Speaking of the youngest McMahon male, the Chairman’s son will make a huge announcement on Raw. What foundations will be shook following this mysterious announcement? How will it affect the WWE Superstars as they head into war at One Night Stand? How will it affect the world of sports-entertainment beyond the Extreme Rules pay-per-view?

Also, just as things are heating up outside, the WWE Divas are ready set to turn up the temperature even more in the Memorial Day Bikini Beach Blast Battle Royal, which will kickoff Raw tonight. Be sure to spend your holiday with the Sexiest Women on Television as they rumble on Raw for Diva supremacy. The Divas scheduled to take part in this jaw-dropping match are Candice, Mickie James, Maria, Jillian, Layla, Michelle McCool, Kristal and Melina. The winner will be awarded a special WWE.com photo shoot.

Cade & Murdoch also continued down a new path last week. With The Hardys under attack by The World's Greatest Tag Team, Kenny Dykstra & Johnny Nitro, Cade & Murdoch rushed to the ring to help the World Tag Team Champions just one night after they challenged them for the gold. Once again, the Southerners shook hands with the champions, taking another step down the path of sportsmanship. Have Cade & Murdoch aligned themselves on the "good side" once and for all?

Don’t miss all the action on Raw, Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

Ive spent all night getting saturday nights main event spiolers prior to raw below is the saturday nights main event reusltsWelcome to the SNME spoilers from the Air Canada Centre. Doors said open 6:45 but 6:30 and doors open and half the arena is full. No tarped off areas.

Snme set is already out, basically a combination of the Raw set with SNME logo in the middle, bottom of the tron.

On the top of the stage is a motorcycle, and there are NBC logos all over the arena. There is only one announce table at ringside.

This crowd is really hot, and only half the arena is full, people are already clapping and the ric flair whoo chants are in full force...

Wwe opening voice over and snme logo lights up on the set.

Wrestlemania retro video of this year that showed at the end of the PPV is on the tron... Huge negative pop for Cena.

The snme logo and set is on and raw announcer john roberts is in the ring talking up the crowd. Ecw ref in the ring as chuck polumbo does his biker intro.

Chuck rides out on the bike. About 7 minute match. Michael cole comes out to smackdown music for snme announcing followed by the king...

history and kalhi comes out before his intro during the video by accident.

So kalhi goes to the back to redo his intro. The snme actually looks very neat lit up, better than I previously said. Crowd is split between cena and kalhi...

Crowd is super hot. And is filling in... So far, cena had a bit of earlu offence but kalhi powers out of the **** and the fu at different times

Crowd turns on kalhi as he conytols the match with a lot of power moves. Cena can't hold kalhi for the fu and kalhi hits chop to head and double chokeslam for the win. Kalhi defeats cena. Ashley goes to the back, as kalhi cuts a promo that gets translated to say kalhi can beat cena anywhere and will at one night stand.

Out comes MVP. And they strike mvps inflateable set in less than 30 seconds...

Biggest pop and firework show of all time at the ACC for Edge who gets a major hometown reaction.... Just amazing how pro crowd edge is. Poeses on top of corner.

Edge and mvp compare titles at ringside. Mvp and benoit start. Mvp gets to rope of crossface, tags in edhe too massive pop. Takes some benoit suplexs for a 2. All offence benoit, so he tags in batista, edge tags out, batista dominats mvp with power moves for a 2. Tags in benoit. Benoit with chops to mvp. 3x suplex.

Benoit miss flying headbut. Edge in with a reverce back breaker. Gets 2. In MVP who gets a 2 with some body slams. Edge back in and benoit now in a headlock...

Batista power moves and running closeline on mvp and as edge goes to make the Save, batista scares him off and edge grabs belt and goes up ramp. Spinebuster on mvp, followed by flying headbut by benoit for the pin. Batista and benoit win

Hornswoggle who is hiding under the ring tags in. Minis about to wrestle but finlay drop kicks lil boogy. Hornswoggle and finlay dance in ring.

Finish comes when boogyman goes after hornswoggle, and finlay gives big boot to lil boogyman for finlay to get the win.

We now have a super long wwe 24/7 promo.

They put a new mat on the ring for the next match, and out comes extreme expose to the ring...

Half the crowd went for food as extreme expose dances...

During the dance we cut backdtage and boogymen are running after hoglesworth, finlay lays out boogy... Hogglesworth and lil boogy come to the ring...

They put expose on their shoulders and expose gives us a chicken fight. It is a draw, and lil boogy runs hogglesworth to the back. Mccool comes to ring announce.

Umaga and thorne beat down eugene, controlling him with power moves... Thorne gets a chinlock...

Eugene gets umanga to outside, tags in kane who beats up vis and thorne. Kane top rope closeline on thorne, umanga in destroys kane, doink and eugene...

In comes vis to give the love train to kane but kane gets out of the way, hits the chokeslam on vis and gets the pin, while umanga beats up eugene and doink

Kane, eugene and doink win. Now time to change ring and set for RAW. This is a major, major change. They are building the Raw set and dismantling SNME set...

While they change the set, which is an amazing change, they show us a video that has never been on TV. It must be for corporate purposes.

This video shows every celeberty (including Leno in wcw) in wrestling history, every charity event, everything in an amazing 10 minute video.

The last stand before One Night Stand

By Noah Starr
May 28, 2007

TORONTO – “There is no doubt whether I can get the job done,” promised a confident John Cena (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/johncena/) on Raw (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/) Monday night, referring to his upcoming One Night Stand Pinfalls Count Anywhere Match against The Great Khali (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/thegreatkhali/).

“I give you my word that I can, and will, defeat The Great Khali!” Our fans know that only time will tell if the WWE Champion can hang on to his gold by toppling the mountain that is The Great Khali.

The main event of Raw saw the unlikely trio of Shane McMahon (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/shanemcmahon/), Umaga (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/umaga/) & The Great Khali conquering WWE Champion John Cena & Bobby Lashley (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/lashley/). Shane lived up to his promise of pinning Lashley by landing a flying elbow drop from the top rope on the muscular chest of the former ECW (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/) World Champion.

Raw’s main event actually marked the second appearance of the night by Shane McMahon. Earlier, Shane-O-Mac announced that in two weeks on Raw, every Superstar and Diva from Raw, SmackDown (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/) and ECW will gather for the first-ever tri-branded draft.

Recently at Judgment Day, Randy Orton (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/randyorton/) squared off against the legendary Showstopper Shawn Michaels (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/shawnmichaels/). After the match ended, Orton shocked our fans by delivering a devastating RKO to the already concussed HBK. Last week, Rob Van Dam (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/rvd/) granted WWE.com an exclusive interview in which he had harsh words for Orton regarding the Judgment Day match and Orton’s respect for the sports-entertainment business. After reading RVD’s interview, the Legend Killer demanded a match with the ECW Original on Raw. In a horrific mirroring of the events that occurred at Judgment Day, the referee stopped the match due to Rob Van Dam’s unresponsive nature.

In related news, WWE.com has learned that Shawn Michaels has recently been released from the care of doctors. Michaels’ medical team have stated that although his condition has not worsened, they have done all that they can do for the injured Superstar.

In other Raw action, the talented Hardys used their patented high-flying maneuvers to conquer Lance Cade (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/lancecade/) & Trevor Murdoch (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/murdoch1/), The World’s Greatest Tag Team and Johnny Nitro (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/johnnynitro/) & Kenny Dykstra (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/kennydykstra/) in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match. Immediately following the pin, Shelton Benjamin (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/sheltonbenjamin/) and Charlie Haas (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/charliehaas/) claimed that because they were not the ones pinned, they deserved an opportunity to face The Hardys for their World Tag Team Championships. Never a tag team to back down from a challenge, The Hardys agreed to a match at One Night Stand and added an additional challenge to the mix: the contest would be a Ladder Match!

In a match filled with sour grapes (or is it sour apples?), Carlito (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/carlito/) teamed with Victoria (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/victoria/) to defeat his former mentor Ric Flair (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/ricflair/), and former girlfriend Torrie Wilson (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/torriewilson/). At the end of this special Intergender Tag Team Match, Carlito stepped into the ring with Torrie and laid an unwelcome kiss on the gorgeous Diva. Torrie slapped Carlito and he countered with a vicious Backstabber that allowed him to pin his ex and pick up the win.

Also on Raw, Santino Marella was conquered by Chris Masters (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/chrismasters/)’ powerful Master Lock much to the dismay of the lovely Maria (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/maria/), who seems to be showing some interest in the Italian Superstar. If our fans needed even more of the Sexiest Women on Television, then the first-ever Memorial Day Bikini Beach Blast Battle Royal that started the show certainly didn’t disappoint. SmackDown’s Michelle McCool (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/michellemccool/) won the match and will get her own special photo shoot featured on WWE.com.

Lastly, it has been announced that WWE Champion John Cena will put his title on the line at Saturday Night’s Main Event against The Great Khali in a Special Challenge Match.

Van Dam's "injury" could be their scape goat to getting him out as quick as possible.. as hes leaving in a month or so.

*******SPOILER, SATURDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENT*************

Pyro goes off, set lights up, a bit different than normal.

WWE champion John Cena vs. Great Khali

Cena out to a major chorus of boos. Cena looks a bit bothered. Worse reaction than Unforgiven. Ashley is the ring announcer. They play a history package on Cena vs. Khali and Khali comes out during it, so he goes to the back to redo his intro. The SNME set actually looks very neat lit up, better than I previously said. The crowd is split between cena and khali. Crowd is super hot. And is filling in... So far, Cena had a bit of early offence but Khali powers out of the **** and the FU at different times. The crowd turns on Khali as he controls the match with a lot of power moves. Cena can't hold Khali for the FU. Khali hits chop to head and double chokeslam for the win. Khali defeats Cena. Ashley goes to the back, as Khali cuts a promo that gets translated to say that Khali can beat Cena anywhere and will do so at One Night Stand.

*Cena gets booed to the back and there are chants of "You can't wrestle."

*Next is ECW champion Vince Mcmahon vs Bobby Lashley in an arm wrestling match.

*Kristal Marshall comes out to announce as they setup the ring.

ECW champion Vince McMahon vs. Bobby Lashley - Arm Wrestling

Announced as the "Doctor of Hardcore", Vince is out first. We see a history package on Lashley vs. Vince dating back to the shaved head at Wrestlemania. Out comes Lashley to some pyro that explodes on him at the top of the ramp. The crowd is now about 95 percent full. Vince holds the ECW belt up in front of Lashley. Vince gets the "You screwed Bret" chant and won't lock up with Lashley. he keeps stalling, stopping, locking up, stopping. He gets the mic but it won't work. Vince gets a new mic and brings out Mark Henry to face Lashley and they start brawling. They go for a bit, big Lashley chant. As Lashley gets advantage, Henry slugs him, and they brawl. Henry bear hugs Lashley into corner but Lashley explodes out with the spear. Vince comes in and nails a chair to back of Lashley. Vince and Henry celebrate up the ramp.

Lashley and Kristal go to back.

WWE World champion Edge promo with Maria where he says he isn't the tallest, biggest or strangest, but he is the greatest. Big pop for Edge as he's in his hometown.

The Crowd is full. Torrie willson out to ring announce.

Batista & Chris Benoit vs. WWE United States champion MVP & WWE World champion Edge

Out comes Batista to mixed reaction. His partner, announced from Atlanta, Georgia, is Chris Benoit to a major pop. They bring out MVP's inflatable set. Out comes MVP. And they strike MVP's inflatable set in less than 30 seconds. Biggest pop and firework show of all time at the Air Canada Center for Edge who gets a major hometown reaction.... Just amazing how pro-Edge the crowd is. He poses on top of corner.

Edge and MVP compare titles at ringside. MVP and Benoit start. MVP gets to rope to escape the crossface. He tags in Edge to a massive pop. Takes some Benoit suplexes for a 2. All offense from Benoit, so he tags in Batista. Edge tags out. Batista dominates MVP with power moves for a two count, then tags in Benoit. Benoit with chops to MVP then hits three suplexes. Benoit misses flying headbutt. Edge in with a reverse backbreaker and gets a two. In comes MVP, who gets a two with some bodyslams. Edge back in and Benoit now in a headlock. Benoit powers out, hits an enziguiri on Edge. MVP comes in but Benoit is able to tag out. Batista power moves and running clothesline on MVP and as edge goes to make the aave, batista scares him off. Edge grabs his belt and goes up ramp. A spinebuster on MVP, followed by flying headbutt by Benoit for the pin. Batista and Benoit win.

Candice Michelle comes out to announce.

We see Finlay and Hornswoggle, as well as Boogeyman and Little Boogey walk in the back. They both come out to their own intros...

Finlay & Hornswoggle vs. Boogeyman & Little Boogey

Finlay and Boogey start off. Boogey has control with all power moves. The crowd is split. Little Boogy in and 2 Banzai Drops on Finlay. Lil Boogy hits a DDT and eats worms. Hornswoggle, who is hiding under the ring, tags in. The minis are about to wrestle but Finlay drop kicks lil Boogy. Hornswoggle and Finlay dance in ring. Finish comes when Boogeyman goes after Hornswoggle. Ffinlay gives a big boot to Little Boogy for Finlay to get the win.

*We now have a super long WWE 24/7 promo.

They put a new mat on the ring for the next match, and out comes Extreme Expose to the ring.

During the dance we cut backstage and The Boogies are running after Hornswoggle. Ffinlay lays out Boogey. Hornswoggle and Little Boogey come to the ring. They put Exxpose on their shoulders and Expose gives us a chicken fight. It is a draw, and Little Boogey runs Hornswoggle to the back.

Michelle McCool comes to ring announce.

Kane & Eugene (dressed as Superman) & Doink the Clown vs. Kevin Thorn & Viscera & Umaga.

Doink does the point to face, getting cheered, then points to heel, causing the fans to boo. Doink and Thorn started. Thorn beats down Doink. Eugene and Umaga in. Umaga powers over Eugene and tags in Viscera. Viscera hits the sidewalk slam on Eugene. He beats down Eugene in the corner. Thorn tags in. Umaga and Thorn beat down Eugene, controlling him with power moves. Thorn grabs a chinlock. Eugene gets Umaga to the outside and tags in Kane. Kane beats up Viscera and Thorn. Kane nails a top rope clothesline on Thorn. Umaga destroys Kane, Doink and Eugene. In comes Viscera, to give the love train to Kane. Kane gets out of the way, then hits the chokeslam on gets the pin as Umaga beats up Eugene and Doink.

RAW is not always live... i mean when its in the UK it's on at 7:30pm but not shown on sky sports untill 2am...

RAW is aired live with a 7 minute tape delay in the USA and the same with the UK, except the delay is a little longer, that's why RAW airs on Monday at 2:00am, because it's a direct live feed.

When RAW is televised live FROM the UK during tours, it's on at 7:30pm because that's around the same time that RAW eminates live from whatever American state they are in. Which is why when American viewers see a RAW from England, it's 2-3 hours after it happened.

Mr. Kennedy is said to be irate at the Pennsylvania doctor that misdiagnosed his right triceps injury on 5/7. Dr. James Andrews determined that the injury was a severe hematoma, and not a muscle tear on 5/9.

Had they known that injury wasn't as serious as it was first thought to be, he probably would have gutted it out because the original plan called for him to win the title at the 5/8 SmackDown taping. Also, the Money in the Bank gimmick is over because he already cashed it in. The working idea is for Kennedy to return to action around the first week of July.

Dayum..

- Post Raw, Cena and Lashly stand in the middle of the ring and stair each other down. Cena pokes lashly, but cooler heads prevail and they shake hands... But...

- Lashley turns on Cena, punches him out, and gives him the dominator to a big pop and celebrates with the WWE title like he is going to go for it next.

Cena gets up to a chores of boos, walks around the ring with hands on hips circa hogan with hand to ear and gets booed loudly for about 5 minutes before his music plays and he goes up the ramp to boos.

He stays there and pretends to about hold the title up in the air like he always does but chooses not too, gets booed.

And leaves to the back to a chores of boos... All the pro Cena fans had already left when raw went off the air. Roberts thanks us and that is a rap...

WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena and TNA star Ron Killings had a real life confrontation Monday morning at around 7 AM Eastern at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC.

Cena, who was leaving town to get to the RAW taping in Canada, saw Killings (who lives in Charlotte and was on his way to Orlando for the Impact tapings) and approached him over some issues from their past. Apparently Cena was upset with Killings for making negative comments about him in some TNA promos.

The two stared each other down as if one was waiting for the other to say something in person. However, no physical confrontation ended up taking place and the two went there separate ways as it turned out to be nothing more than a tense moment.

Killings would'a shut that Marine Wannabe's azz down

I went to a RAW house show in November 2005. Drove 8 hours to Manchester to see the event. Unfortunately, due to Eddie Guerrero's death and funeral, many of the advertised Superstars didn't attend, so a lot of the card was changed, apart from the main eventers.

Double main event saw Triple H def. Ric Flair and John Cena retain the WWE strap against Kurt Angle w/ Daivari in a Steel Cage match.

Eric Bischoff at that time was the key backstage runner of house shows, and he made an appearance at the top of the show to apologise for a changed card, offered refunds and started a loud "Eddie" chant.

Although not confirmed by WWE on WWE.com, Darren "Droz" Drozdov has been released.

Drozdov competed for WWE from 1998 - 1999 teaming with The Road Warriors and Prince Albert aka A-Train over the course of his career, when an injury during a match with D'lo Brown ended his career and he became a quadriplegic. Drozdov remained a WWE ever since, appearing and the now-defunct "Byte This" program, giving PPV predictions, and appearing on a few WWE DVD productions.

Drozdov's release comes as a big shock to many, as he was guaranteed a "job for life" by Vince McMahon after his accident. Like with all of the other releases lately, Stephanie McMahon is the mastermind behind this one, as she felt that without "Byte This", WWE has little to no use for Drozdov and she feels like Droz has been given more than enough money over the course of 8 years that he should be set for life.

From 1999 - 2005, Drozdov was married to Melanie Vega, a seamstress for WWE. The couple divorced in 2005 and Droz currently has another girlfriend and Vega is in a relationship with WWE superstar Shannon Moore.

Stretcher match on ATM: RVD went to do a top rope move and his foot missed the rope when he went to jump on (the turnbuckle) and fell on to the outside :P (For those who dont know, his opponent is Randy Orton)

Ouch!! Orton was laying on the stretcher out side the ring, RVD was in the ring and ran and did a flip over the rope but orton moved off the stretcher and rvd landed on the mats back first with his (right) leg smacking off the stretcher.

After a little bit more brawling RVD has won the match ;)

Quote:In the last couple of weeks WWE has been trying something new with the referees in their house show undercard matches. In an attempt to make matches seem less scripted, WWE will no longer be informing referees of the finish of matches before hand. The matches are now to be treated like legitimate fights more than scripted performances. Now if a wrestler doesn't get his shoulder up quick enough in a near fall situation and the ref counts three, that's the finish and the wrestler who failed to do his part will take the blame for it. It is going to force heels to work harder to cheat behind the referee's back so you won't see any more awkward "referee sees the guy still cheating and turns back around" spots.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After suffering his second concussion in less than a week at One Night Stand, Rob Van Dam (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/rvd/) will now be out of action indefinitely, WWE.com has learned.
Last night, RVD competed in a Stretcher Match against Randy Orton (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/randyorton/) with a concussion. He somehow managed to win the battle, but Orton may have won the war with a post-match attack that included a DDT on the concrete floor and then a vicious punt to his head.
In a challenge on Raw (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/) last week, Orton gave Van Dam the concussion and then subsequently vowed to make the ECW (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/) Original suffer the same fate as Shawn Michaels (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/shawnmichaels/) – leave One Night Stand on a stretcher. Orton may have ended HBK’s career last month at Judgment Day after taking advantage of his previous head injury.
It has been rumored for months that Van Dam was going to take time off from ring action to allow nagging injuries to heal. It now appears that he will have no other choice. There are also rumors that he may never be able to return to the ring.
In other words, his contract is up, so we'll say Orton kicked him in the head and ended his career. Nice one creative team.

Well I think it's better they did that rather then let him wrestle until his contract us up.. 'cos that would look even worse.

There's not many way's they could have used him with his remaining time. "Injuring" & saying he needs "time-out", was probably one of the best ways out.

Because I can't see another plausable ways of getting rid of him..

The FU was about a five foot drop onto a crash mat. Wow, since December the WWE have been doing a lot of stage drops.

One Night Stand was a pretty good PPV. Match of the night was by far the Ladder match. Benjamin's botch when he fell out of the ring and missed the ropes was sick; the ladder bended and bounced right back into position.

The latest sign in what insiders are seeing as Stephanie McMahon and Triple H running WWE as they see fit is in her recent takeover of the official WWE website. Not only has Stephanie taken over the talent side, but she is now overseeing WWE.com as well.

There is a major philosophical difference on how the site should be run between Shane McMahon and Stephanie & Triple H. Shane feels that pretending wrestling is legit and not delivering real news makes the site a laughing stock. On the otherhand, both Stephanie and Triple feel that the site should soley be for storyline advancement and to sell merchandise. But with Stephanie put in charge of overseeing the site, with Michael Cole running it, the Steph/Triple H vision has won out. The effects are already starting to sink in because you don't see as much shocking insider stuff on the site as much as you did in the past. A good example of this is that today, WWE is playing up RVD's possible departure from the company due to the second storyline concussion he suffered at last night's pay-per-view.

TV producer Kevin Dunn will be running the site from a business standpoint (setting the budget, hiring & firing workers), but Stephanie will be setting the creative & reporting direction of the site. She will throw anything out that may compromise the characters or storylines. Furthermore, Chris Chambers, who put up a lot of insider stuff on the site (like reporting when Stephanie had a baby and listing Triple H's real name), has been forced out of the company. You're not going to be seeing that type of stuff on WWE.com anymore. The baby announcement greatly upset the dynamic duo and his duties of running the website were subsequently taken away a few weeks later (March 2006). They kept him on the payroll for the better part of another year, but he has since been let go.

Furthermore, the feeling is that Stephanie & Shane will be publically portrayed as a brother & sister duo running the company, but in actuality, Big Steph has all the power. Shane will be the McMahon who represents the company to the public and goes to business meetings. His strong suit is that he's very personable and her gets along with people quite well. Stephanie isn't bad at representing the company, Shane is better socially and Steph is more like Vince when it comes to business decisions.

Goldust was scheduled to return to WWE as a full-time performer, but it looks like that idea is out the window now.

On Friday, May 25, Dustin Rhodes agreed to make an appearance at the SNME taping the very next Monday. As you saw on Raw, WWE did a major advertising spot for it, but without Dustin's final commitment. However, Dustin called WWE soon after back (after they made the advertising spot no less) and cancelled, saying that he had a prior booking on Monday, May 28, the same day as the SNME taping. He also said that his chronic bad back was giving him too much trouble. Dustin also cancelled his appearance at the Bad News Brown tribute show on May 25. Dusty Rhodes was asked to intervene in the situation, but he said he didn't want to mix business with family.

When Vince McMahon heard about Dustin backing out, he got mad and decided that he didn't want any non-contracted people appearing on the show. When Vince was making the decision, Mike Bucci was talking to Kamala. Kamala was originally advertised to wrestle in the "freaks" match at the SNME taping, but due to all this, he lost his place on the show.

Dustin picked a bad time to back out, or if his injury was that severe, it couldn't have come at a worse time. Raw writer Brian Gewirtz had gotten approval for Dustin Rhodes to get a full-time WWE contract and for him to return to the company as Goldust. He would have gone back to his original persona when he was a major heel, but with a few adaptations due to the changing of the times. And due to the lack of depth on Raw, he was going to be a major heel this time around.

In fact, WWE had plans for him to feud with Santino Marella to help get him over in a high-profile feud. There were also tentative plans for Goldust to work with both Triple H and John Cena by the end of the year. Although, that was dependent on him getting his heel persona over. Unfortunately, all of these possibilities look to be out the window because Goldust backed out of appearing at the Saturday Night's Main Event taping after he agreed to.

There has been talk of bringing Paul Heyman back to television, but with no creative stroke at all. They want him to be a heel manager for a heel that is on the brink of being pushed reaching main event level status.

Vince is lukewarm to the idea, but it is still a near 180 turn on how he felt about him back in December when he said that he'd never be brought back. On the hand, Michael Hayes, Bruce Prichard and Brian Gewirtz are arguing that it's a bad idea.

The Daltons, Jesse Dalton (Ray Gordy) and Festus Dalton (Drew Hankinson), are likely being dropped from the main roster.

On the May 11, 2007 edition of SmackDown, they asked General Manager Theodore Long for a match, and he told them to be at SmackDown the very next week in Baltimore. They were supposed to make their wrestling debuts on the May 18, 2007 edition of SmackDown, but creative changed their minds on using them and made the decision to not use them that night. A few days later, they were leaning towards dropping them all together. At this point, their characters are considered virtually dead. The feeling is if they're not on TV in the week or two, the demotion was likely final.

This is the third time in which Hankinson was really close to being a full-blown WWE Superstar. Last year, he portrayed the "Imposter Kane" and even got a pinfall victory over the real one at Vengeance. However, Vince McMahon deemed the match to be horrible and the gimmick was dropped the next day. There were rumors that he was going to be brought up to the SmackDown roster in his caveman-like Freakin' Deacon gimmick in the fall, in fact, some vignettes for the character were planned, but it didn't work out for whatever reason. He also had some dark matches earlier this year, but WWE wasn't too impressed with his work.

Smackdown Results - June 8th

Thanks to Shannon Rose of www.prowrestlingdaily.com (http://www.prowrestlingdaily.com/)

Dark match
Johnny Jeter b Sylvan with a spin kick off the top rope. Good match

Smackdown
Cutting Edge segment with Vince McMahon opened. Vince was still acting crazy. Funny flub by Edge where he mentioned it being Thursday (supposed to say Friday). They announced Edge vs. Batista for the PPV. In the end, Edge gave Vince his belt.

Mark Henry b Boogeyman with the world's strongest slam. Post-match saw Henry destroy Little Boogeman with a big splash. Seemed as if they were writing Little Boogeyman out.

Vickie Guerrero made the next few matches. Vince was backstage with Vickie, Teddy Long and Kristal. Vince was still acting strange. He put over Vickie, said Kristal was a problem and told Teddy he was watching him

Jimmy Yang & Paul London & Brian Kendrick b Chavo Guerrero & Jamie Noble & Daivari when Kidman pinned Chavo

Edge b Chris Benoit with a spear. Good back-and-forth match. Benoit came close to winning several times.

Jillian and Ashley brawled backstage. As Vince was talking to Matt Hardy, Ashley accidentally spilled coffee on Vince. Vince then suspended Ashley

Deuce & Domino b Matt Hardy in a tornado handicap match when Deuce got the pin after a running kick to the face

Batista b MVP via DQ when Edge interfereed and speared Batista

Before ECW started, there was a dark match involving William Regal. Not sure who his opponent was due to the bad sound system

After ECW, Batista b Edge via DQ for a low blow in a short match

Good match line up.

Currently Chris Benoit is seemingly the only person that has been told of his fate in the upcoming WWE draft lottery. The current plan will see him changing brands from Smackdown to RAW during the 6/11 draft.

Benoit is being moved to RAW due to what the company feels is a lack of main-event level depth on the brand.

The Rock was never a mega talented wrestler, but he could get the job done and have a good match. Also, he was phenomenal on the microphone and a colossal draw. He is like Cena, good on the mic', but not too gifted in the ring.

Anyone who says "The Rock sucks" is in need of a reality check, as he is the second most over wrestler in the history of professional wrestling, behind Hogan.
