I like the MVP angle but I just feel Smackdown is really lacking that OOMPF these days. The best bit for me at the moment is the comedy with JBL and Michael Cole!
I don't like Kali at all. I find the whole "giant" thing is doing my head in with the whole translator thing. I don't know wot it is but I hate seeing his stupid head and his stupid mouth... it's STUPID.

Oh dear, well the other dya I looked at the WWE website and took a look at the staff pages, I have to say that WWE has gotten even worse since I stopped watching it around a year ago.
Most of the old faces are gone, replaced with people called 'Bobby Elfs' or 'The Thunderbolts' who only last around a few months then disappear, John Cena is still a title holder which is so boring and dull.
What ever happened to the good old days, Vince VS Undertaker buried alive?, Stone Cold VS The Rock in a cage?, Hogan, Undertaker and others coming in to help Stephanie against Brock Lesner? and Paul Heyman being destroyed by numerous wrestlers, them kind of things got you excitied to watch WWE
Sadly, it's no more.
Mrs.McCall
15-09-2007, 08:35 PM
Thats very true. I think they should get rid of ECW and get more superstars on the two shows.
I think suspensions, scandals and investigations haven't helped but the writing team needs a kick up the bum. We don't want to see people like Kali or Snitsky.. we want the good old days like the Rock/HHH fued... bring back some old favourites I say.
Kurt Angle, Big Show, Jericho (reported comeback anyway).
I think the GMs are boring too. Teddy Long is like *yawn* really. It's too obvious that the wedding is going to go wrong really.

Sonny Siaki has been released from his WWE developmental contract.
He was recently working for the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory after being moved from Deep South Wrestling when that closed down. In FCW, he was in a tag team with Afa Jr. called 'The Samoan Fight Club'. However, Afa Jr. was moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling this week to do a tag team with former WWE star Rosey called 'Sons of Samoa', so well, that left Siaki on his own. Siaki worked a few WWE house shows earlier in the year, but apparently officials weren't impressed enough to call him up the main roster. During Armando Estrada's hiatus this spring/summer, there were rumors of calling Siaki up to the ECW roster along with some other developmental talent to form a faction with Estrada as the manager. But then Estrada was made the General Manager of ECW, and those plans were pretty much called off. Siaki had been under contract to WWE since December 2005.
WWE has yet to confirm the release on their official website. They may not even acknowledge it.

My predictions for unforgiven..
1) WWE Championship: (Champion) John Cena vs. Randy Orton
Prediction: I actually think WWE will listen to angry fans at Summerslam and allow Orton the win. I don't think he'll keep the title for long and will lose to Triple H but all the same I'll think he'll win it this time.
2) Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: (Champion) The Great Khali with Runjin Singh vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Batista
Prediction: I hope Khali is injured in this match and is out for a while, give me a break from his stupid jaw. Anyway, I am going for Batista, I think Mysterio will help him somehow. Batista will probs break free of the vise grip or something then hit the batista bomb.
3) ECW Championship: (Champion) CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke
Prediction: I think Elijah Burke will pick up the win because I believe that the WWE are trying to push him up the ladder. He kinda rose from nowhere really and I think the WWE want to make him big.
4) Triple H vs. Carlito (No Disqualifications for Carlito)
Prediction: I think that there will be alot of outside interference from different people but the game will pick up the win.
5) Women’s Championship: (Champion) Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix
Prediction: I actually think Candice Michelle will retain the title. I am not too sure. I think the WWE are trying to push Beth as the next Chyna.
6) The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
Prediction: I reckon this will be best match of the night. I think Undertaker will win and Mark Henry will get "injured" because rumour has it that he has ended his contract with WWE! I think that he renewed it now tho, dunno. Taker to win tho!
7) World Tag Team Championship: (Champions) Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs. Paul London and Brian Kendrick
Prediction: I dunno... I think that Cade & Murdoch will retain by using dirty tactics as always
8) WWE Tag Team Championship: (Champions) Matt Hardy and United States Champion MVP vs. Deuce N’ Domino with Cherry
Prediction: I think that they are going to drag the MVP/Hardy partnership for a little while longer to build up to the US title match! So my prediction is MVP & Hardy to retain.

I'm pretty sure Mark Henry & the WWE mutually agreed he'd leave after Unforgiven.
Last unforgiven, Cena won the title back from Edge in that TLC. Seems pretty certain that they're going to end the run here, being the longest reigning champ in the last 12 years.
Orton better not F this chance up :/

Beth should win the womens match, simply because she has the natural talent to hold the title. Candice doesn't have an ounce of wrestling ability in her body, and when she tries to express that she does, she messes her moves up. Giving her the championship in the first place was a mistake, hopefully Stephanie has finally realised this and has re-ordered the creative team reports, so that Beth wins. If Candice wins, it's ****.

Through his translator Ranjin Singh, former champion The Great Khali has exercised his rematch clause for the World Heavyweight Championship, and the match has been made by General Manager Theodore Long– a Punjabi Prison Match at No Mercy on Sunday, Oct. 7.
The Punjab Giant will look to rebound from his defeat in the Triple Threat Match at Unforgiven, a match which saw Batista's odyssey to the top of the Smackdown mountain finally capped with gold. But now Batista faces his first major test since claiming the title, from the more than 7-foot monster Khali in one of the most brutal matches in WWE history.
Will Batista’s reign as champion be short-lived, or will The Animal be able to defeat The Great Khali in the confines of the bamboo-surrounded ring? The bigger question is, can the Punjabi Prison contain the hatred between Khali and Batista?

The wedding has started. Comedian Bruce Bruce is the Reverend. Vince McMahon, Arn Anderson and performers from all three brands are present as guests. Teddy dedicates "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge to Kristal. Jillian Hall comes out and says that they were terrible and starts to sing. She is dragged off by several other Divas. They continue...but...
The Godfather, accompanied by several Hos, comes out and stops the ceremony. Godfather got all the male performers to leave with him to "ride the Ho Train". Hornswoggle crawls under Kristal's dress and is chased to the back by Jonathan Coachman and Vince McMahon.
Teddy and Kristal start to exchange vows. Long passes out while giving them and medics rush down. They carry Long out on a gurney.
JBL returns to do commentary.
Smackdown opening features WWE World champion Batista in the ring wearing a suit, so it appears they shot the wedding first and that will close the episode when it airs. Batista promo.

WWE news and notes The AP ran an article about Chris Benoit's diary. Cary Icther, the attorney for father Michael Benoit, said the entries showed Benoit "wracked with grief and preoccupied with death", noting that Chris wrote the entries as if he was talking to Eddy. Ichter said he was not going to provide copies of the diary for review, but noted certain phrases, including, "I will be with you soon". He also "wrote warmly" about both Daniel and Nancy. The article again noted that the diary had been found in the trash by one of Benoit's neighbors after the police and family had left. I can only imagine that the trash in question belonged to the neighbor, because I cannot fathom the police and family doing an investigation and not finding the diary in the trash at Benoit's house.
I should note, though, that from very early on there were people talking about how it was a rinky-dink investigation (one person even used the term, ironically, "Barney Fife") and they were stunned with certain things the police did.
In another article, Ichter said: "It's plain that he was depressed. It's plain that he was beginning to exhibit some of the signs of the dementia that's associated with the brain injuries he sustained because he talks in there about not being able to remember things. Chris, at the end had become intensely paranoid, to the point that he would not take the same route to the airport on a consistent basis, to the point that he would not allow the family outside of the house".
The story also noted that it would be months before the estate battle was handled.
Kresten F. Ericksen, 47, an Ogdensburg City Councilor, was arrested this past week on charges of 2nd degree forgery in regards to an incident involving WWE and the Ogdensburg Golden Dome. Basically, the WWE ran two shows in 2006 which were to help raise money for a new scrolling marquee. Kresten, the Student Council Advisor, was in charge of paying WWE $8,000 for the show. WWE later told police that they hadn't been paid the full amount. The Student Council asked Ericksen for a receipt and he produced one claiming the $8,000 had been paid. As it turns out, the belief is that he kept approximately $4,000 and forged the receipt. The investigation is continuing and it is believed no one else will be charged.
The pretrial conference in the Phil Astin case was scheduled for Tuesday, the day we went to press.
Mike Fish of ESPN.com wrote two huge articles for the website last week. The first was entitled "Other wrestlers used Benoit's doctor for prescriptions". It mostly covered the death of Johnny Grunge Durham and his relationship to Astin. There was some new info in there that was pretty distressing. Eric Zinck, who was Durham's best friend and was providing him with a place to live when he died, went to the pharmacy to get Durham's last prescription filled. Durham was smurfed up that morning, so Zinck went without him, told the folks at the pharmacy that he needed to refill a prescription for him, and they gave it to him no questions asked -- and that includes asking for any sort of ID.
The morning Mike died, Zinck's girlfriend had stumbled over him in the hallway. They checked his pulse, and although it was "weak" they had seen him in this state many times and figured he'd recover like usual. He didn't. Durham had been using Dr. Astin for years, and before that he'd been using Dr. Robert Howard of Peachtree City, who was also busted and ended up dying in prison recently. Howard had also treated Chris Benoit and, according to Zinck, "half the wrestlers in WCW".
Dave Meltzer in the Observer also noted last week that a former WWE star had called him up and told him that although x number of names had come out in the Signature case, he believed "everyone" was a Signature client up and down the roster. I can say that there are other name wrestlers who were both Signature clients and patients of Dr. Astin that for whatever reason have not come out yet. Penny Durham talked about the issues Mike's pain pill and soma abuse caused.
It broke up their marriage and he wasn't able to keep a job, even with his father-in-law. He'd pass out constantly at home, often in the middle of playing with his children, and he'd be so screwed up during the day that he couldn't drive his father-in-law's truck to carpet installation jobs. Once, he started swerving, and when his father-in-law pulled the car over Durham opened the door, fell out, and passed out on the road. He was so big at the time, near 400 pounds of dead weight with a 56-inch waist, that he could not be moved. No one else was willing to drive with him either. The article noted that he had 11 different doctors prescribing him pills, but no one prescribed more than Astin. In 13 months, Astin wrote prescriptions for over 4,000 pills. "The doctor should have never given him anything," Penny said. "He had asthma. He had an enlarged heart. He had sleep apnea. And he was overweight. He wasn't even wrestling.
Why would he be giving this guy a muscle relaxer? I mean, he was giving it to him like candy." Durham would sometimes fill Vicodin prescriptions every four days, even at the same pharmacy. The article noted that Penny was considering filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Astin, and that Michael Benoit was considering a lawsuit as well but was likely going to wait until the trial was over. Lex Luger said Astin was just a good old guy who never talked to guys about steroids or anything. He said Astin was "a little star struck" and enjoyed interacting with the guys. He didn't use the term "mark doctor" but he may as well have. Zinck said, "He just prescribed what he thought we needed. Or if we asked to go up in the medication, he didn't question it. He just went up in it".
The Luger story was fascinating. Luger, 49, needs a hip replacement and now walks with a cane. He says he can't believe he's alive and nearly overdosed many times. He is also a man of God now, and very forthright about his drug use, steroid use, arrests, and the death of Miss Elizabeth. "I take a lot of responsibility for that -- my influence in her life. Her little heart and body couldn't take what I was doing."
She died of acute drug toxicity in 2003. Luger said the 1,000 illegal pills that were found in his house were in a bag that he'd forgotten was there. He said Liz had sent it over from his previous residence. "I didn't know I had it, and I would never have kept that stuff in my house. I would have had a friend keep it for me. Athletes won't keep it in their house. They'll go over to their friends' house and get their shots and stuff."
He now lives with a pastor at his church and does motivational stay-off-drugs speeches. He said he first got on steroids after he played football at Penn State and the University of Miami and was offered a CFL tryout. He met a guy in the gym who gave him Dianabol, and the rest is history. He said he was never a hardcore steroid user like some guys in wrestling who never cycle off. He did Deca and testosterone 12 weeks on and 12 weeks off and was blessed with a super fast metabolism that kept him lean. Well, you can never argue that Lex Luger didn't have fantastic genetics. In fact, the article here included a photo of him, and at 49 with a bad hip he's still very lean and muscular, and the interview took place over the course of several hours in a buffet.
This also, he said, was why he was still alive. "I metabolized drugs quickly. That is not good, but it saved my life a bunch of times. I went in deep a bunch of times with pills and alcohol." He had nice things to say about Sting, ("one of the few that stuck by me when my life was a wreck"), and, yes, Dr. Astin. He said Astin never provided him with steroids and merely helped him manage pain. "I was under pain-management therapy or hydrocodone, just legal amounts. I need to have hip surgery that I've been putting off. I do a little hydrocodone and some Advil and Aleve, buddy. That is all I take. That's why I was seeing him -- a little bit of pain management." He said the wrestlers had little problem beating drug tests in the 90s. Good to know things never change.
He claimed there was a place in Atlanta that he could go to now and get a three month supply of testosterone and human growth hormone, and that there was a guy in California that was currently supplying drugs to "hundreds of wrestlers and other pro athletes". He finished up saying, "I was a pill-popper. And I abused alcohol toward the end, real bad. And I got caught with steroids in my house. I am a convicted felon. I deserved it. And I take accountability for that. I am trying to help others avoid what happened in my life, and my family and friends that I devastated. I dishonored my profession. I dishonored my community, all because I couldn't control myself and got this sick other lifestyle and drug abuse. I want to help our young kids stay away from that".
There are no plans at this point for a Shawn Michaels return. Obviously when he went down everyone was talking about him being back by November. Problem is, it's 2007 and he's a family man and he's enjoying his time at home with his family. He's also said to be very content with his career, particularly the entire first half of this year when he was the main guy responsible for the best six months of weekly high-level in-ring action that there has perhaps ever been in any promotion in the world.
He has given indications that he isn't in a rush to come back, and the feeling is that Hunter took him to Ohio Valley last week in part to try to get the business back into his blood again. If he comes back this fall, the plan is to plug him into a feud with Orton, which of course would make sense since Orton put him out with the concussion gimmick months back (in reality Shawn needed knee surgery). But there are no guarantees.
Since it's all over the Internet now, no, I don't know if Randy Orton tried to commit suicide earlier this year. Irv Muchnick wrote on his blog: "A rumor is swirling that World Wrestling Entertainment star Randy Orton attempted suicide within the last year. Very well-placed wrestling sources tell me that the rumor is true." All I know is that after this story came out I talked to someone in WWE who would likely have been in a position to know this information who said they had not heard such a thing. They said Orton did have a "personal issue" at one point, but at the time they'd chalked it up to perhaps a drug issue, and could not confirm or deny any stories of a suicide attempt. Irv speculated that this may have been the reason he was not suspended when the list of Signature patients came out. Actually, I believe the reason he wasn't suspended was because he wasn't on the Signature list.
Although advanced advertising listed Batista vs. Undertaker for No Mercy, the WWE.com website announced Tuesday that it would be Big Dave vs. Great Khali in PUNJABI PRISON~! We'll also get Orton vs. Cena Last Man Standing and probably Hunter vs. Umaga, which was the plan for the September PPV until Umaga got suspended.

- Three matches have been set up so far for next month's No Mercy live on
pay-per-view. The WWE title match between John Cena and Randy Orton in a
Last Man Standing match; Batista defending the World title against The Great
Khali in a Punjabi Prison match; and Triple H taking on the currently
suspended Umaga.
> AUTHOR SAYS ORTON ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
- The author of the wrestling book 'Wrestling Babylon' Irv Muchnick
yesterday revealed on his website that according to well-placed sources
former World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton attempted suicide within the
last year. Orton's name was listed as a client of Signature Pharmacy when
the listed was published by Sports Illustrated. From September 2004 through
February 2007 Orton is said to have received somatropin, nandrolone and
stanozolol. Out of all the Superstars busted, the 27 year old Orton is the
only one who didn't receive a suspension and was kept in his main event slot
with John Cena. Irv Muchnick is the nephew of the late St Louis promoter Sam
Muchnick. His new book titled 'Chris and Nancy: The True Story of the Benoit
Murder-Suicide and Pro Wrestling's Cocktail of Death' is slated to be
published by ECW Press in 2008.

LONDON – WWE Champion John Cena (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/johncena/) has been nominated by the Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Awards for Best Sports Personality. Nickelodeon is the No. 1 kids’ network in the United Kingdom.
“It’s a great feeling to be nominated. There are a lot of people who have different views on what I do – my set of ethics, my set of morals. I’m one of those guys who knows I’m in a position where I’m being watched, by all sorts of media, by all sorts of people. I do whatever I can to send whatever message I can to the youth,” Cena explained.
“That’s why I go around with words like ‘Hustle. Loyalty. Respect.’ On my chest. That’s why when I go into the ring, I do it for reasons I think are right,” Cena said. “To be nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award, to show that not only are the youth watching, but the youth are understanding the message I’m sending, that’s one of the greatest forms of flattery you can have.”
Cena is up against soccer star David Beckham, F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, and middle-distance runner and double Olympic Gold Medalist Dame Kelly Holmes. Vote for The Champ now on the Kids’ Choice Awards site (http://kca.nick.co.uk/) now through Sept. 30. The event will be Oct. 20 at the ExCeL London.
“Regardless of how it works out, I’m just cool with them watching,” Cena said. “The people I’m most trying to send a message to are the youth of the world, because I don’t think enough sports figures, I don’t think enough role models, I don’t think enough celebrities really concentrate on that as much as I enjoy being myself. I always put forth a conscious effort to set a good example for the kids.”
lol..
How can he not win? 90% of his fans are in the nickelodeon demographic.

- Some of the frames show what looks like computer code containing the names of current and past WWE shows. It appears to be the "video paths" used by WWE's production software.

On WWE's CD "WWE The Music: Volume 4", Track 1 is the theme music of .. Chris Jericho. With that in mind, the clip is somewhat similar to Chris Jericho's old entrance video.

Cena out with pec tear, must surrender WWE Championship
Written: October 2, 2007
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.
– WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.
Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”
But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.
WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.

The reason there wasn't an announcement made on ECW this past Tuesday night as to who would be facing Randy Orton at No Mercy for the vacant WWE Title is because they company hadn't figured out what they were going to do yet on Sunday. It should be noted that a meeting is scheduled for today to discuss the matter. Vince McMahon is reportedly very high on Randy Orton right now, feeling he is the hottest heel in the company.
In a move that continues to make Orton look like the top candidate to get the title on Sunday, WWE.com has a video up showing John Cena's surgery with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama this week. While the video mentions Cena's injury as taking place during a hip toss with Mr. Kennedy, they show the attack by Orton afterwards to make it appear as if he did more damage.
Former WWE Champion John Cena underwent surgery this week to repair a fully torn pectoral tendon. WWE's official website has posted a video feature on Cena's surgery and the long rehabilitation process ahead, which has already started in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sports injury "Surgeon to the Stars" Dr. James Andrews performed Cena's operation and gave WWE.com an exclusive update on how the surgery went and what lies ahead for John Cena. Here's what Dr. Andrews had to say:
- The pectoral tendon was torn when Cena's arm was pulled behind him during the hiptoss spot with Ken Kennedy. Andrews called it a "devastating injury" and was amazed Cena even finished the match.
- Initial examinations didn't show how severe the tear was. Once they "opened him up" during surgery, they learned it was a complete pectoral tear where the tendon attaches to the bone.
- Andrews noted that the quick turnaround for the surgery (which took place less than 24 hours after the injury) helped make the procedure an easier once, since the torn tendon hadn't had a chance to shrivel up after the tear.
- Andrews said that Cena "should have a full recovery."
Statements from WWE and Vince McMahon himself have placed Cena's return timeline at somewhere between six months to a year, which at best, would be April 2008 - effectively ruling out a match for Cena at Wrestlemania XXIV in Orlando, Florida.
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Wrestler and former Olympian Kurt Angle was arrested on a charge of drunk driving last Friday afternoon.
Moon Township police got a report of an erratic driver. The description of the car and the driver matched that of Angle.
Police went to Angle's home and they said he admitted to driving the car home from a local bar.
Officials said Angle failed a field sobriety test but refused a blood test. Angle is charged with driving under the influence and careless driving. Angle won a gold medal in wrestling at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Smackdown:
Out come JBL & Michael Cole.
Batista comes out. He blabs and says nothing significant. Khali interrupts from the back. Again, nothing significant. Batista you don't know what it's like to be with a caged animal.
Chuck Palumbo, with Michelle McCool, over Ace Steel.
The match was very short. Immediately after the pin, Chris Masters comes in and puts Chuck in the Master Lock. He passes out and Masters breaks it. PPV Filler anyone?
(Ace just made it to TV in OVW and already he's a Smackdown jobber. Hopefully this doesn't mean doom for his WWE career.)
Jamie Noble over Jimmy Wang Yang.
Matt Hardy & MVP come out. They have some sort of push up contest and MVP wins.
Tag Team Championship: Matt Hardy & MVP over Deuce & Domino, with Cherry.
Kane over Kenny Dykstra, with Victoria.
In the back, MVP tried to turn the tables on Matt by asking Vickie Guerrero to make a match between Matt and Kane's brother, Undertaker. Instead she said Kane & Undertaker would take on Matt Hardy & MVP.
Jesse & Festus over Chad Collyer & Mike Tolar. Apparently their theme song is called Biscuits & Gravy.
Rey Mysterio over Great Khali via DQ. Finlay interfered. Batista ran in for the save. Two PPV match hypes for the price of one!
There was a dark match between Smackdown & ECW. Funaki beat Mike Kruel.

Results from Heat and Raw taings
Hello fans and welcome to today's live coverage of WWE Monday Night RAW from the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England! The show will air in the United States tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET.
* The arena is pretty much full. Crowd noise is unreal.
* There is a cage above the ring.
* Heat will be taped first.
* All signs and banners are being confiscated at the doors.
* RAW announcer Lilian Garcia is present at the tapings.
* A WrestleMania 23 recap is shown.
Dark Match:
Harry Smith defeated Carlito
* Harry cut a big promo before the match, dedicating it to his father. He won after a running powerslam. The crowd went nuts!
Heat:
* Mickie James defeated Melina
Mickie won via a swinging DDT.
* Snitsky defeated Robbie Brookeside
* Jim Duggan & Super Crazy defeated Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin</B>
RAW:
* It looks like they will be having a Carlito's Cabana on the show. They did some stuff about "best signs", but since most of them got confiscated at the door, the crowd is booing.
* RAW opens with a backstage promo with Randy Orton complaining to William Regal about Cyber Sunday.
* The opening pyro hits and William Regal appears on the stage. It now appears that Randy Orton will face all three Cyber Sunday opponents TONIGHT.
* Randy Orton defeats Jeff Hardy
The match continues through a commercial break. Hardy dominates the match early until Orton gives him a dropkick from the apron to the floor. LOTS OF HEADLOCKS. Hardy makes a comeback with a neckbreaker and a Whisper in the Wind, only for Ken Kennedy to interfere and push Hardy off the top rope. RKO and Orton wins.
Santino comes out with Maria; insults Birmingham, England and the Condemned. That leads to Santino vs Val Venis; squash match with Santino winning by using the ropes.
Carlito backstage. More Hornswoggle stuff here, with Coachman chasing Hornswoggle... Vince is backstage with Regal, and Vince insults the Queen and so on. Next match is Ken Kennedy vs Orton.
Ken Kennedy is a massive babyface in Birmingham and gets a reaction to suit that. Orton v Kennedy is "quite boring" (surprise!), and the crowd aren't into it at all. Kennedy hits his wacky Green Bay Plunge (don't know whether it was on the mat or off the top rope), but Jeff Hardy attacks Kennedy for the DQ, hitting a swanton. Shawn Michaels appears on screen and gets the loudest pop of the night.
They played the Timbaland music video with all the Divas in... Andy Simmonz (British guy) is in the ring, and Vince comes out to a huge pop. They announce HHH vs Umaga for Cyber Sunday, with the first choice being a street fight, . Out comes Umaga, who destroys Simmonz in a street fight.
They announce choice #2: a first blood match. Umaga gives Simmonz a few Samoan spikes, and Umaga wins the first blood match between the pair. The final choice is a cage match: we now have Umaga v Simmonz in a cage.
Vince spent the series of matches calling Simmonz "HHH" (only the noses are similar). Simmonz took a lot of sick bumps to the head in the cage match - it'd be surprising if he didn't have some sort of concussion after this. Umaga won, obviously.
Maria out for the kiss-cam as they change the canvas (I think there must have been lot of blood from Simmonz)...
There's a skit with Coachman chasing Hornswoggle on bikes. Enter Ron Simmons, you know the rest.
Jillian Hall insults Lilian Garcia and sings the Spice Girls' "Wannabe". They plug Lilian's CD, and Jillian v Candice is next. Candice wins with the Unprettier in three moves.
Backstage now with Cody Rhodes. Hardcore Holly walks up to him, and Cody says he just wants respect. Holly slaps Cody, and that match is on next.
Out come Highlanders to insult England... Cande and Murdoch come out for commentary as we have Brian Kendrick vs Rory McAllister. Rory wins with a slingshot suplex - dead crowd for a poor match.
No Mercy recap now, followed by Rhodes v Holly (they must have aired the "UP NEXT" pre-tape a little early).
But first, another series of distractions. Shawn Michaels promo saying he'll kick Randy Orton's teeth down his throat as he encourages people to vote for him at the PPV.
Another Hornswoggle promo, this time in the diva's locker room, followed by "a long save_us.222 promo". Hornswoggle reaches the ring, chased by Coachman who has a box of TNT, which doesn't work. Hornswoggle goes under the ring, followed by Coachman. Hornswoggle "blows" the TNT... it was as bad as it sounded.
Regal annnounces (off camera) that the post show dark match is going to be HHH vs Umaga in a street fight...
Hardcore Holly beats Cody Rhodes with the Alabama Slam. Crowd was largely dead for that.
Main event is up next: HBK vs Orton. Shawn doesn't look comfortable at all with his knees. Shawn wins in DQ after 5 mins - he hits an elbow off the top, but Kennedy runs in for the interference. Jeff Hardy comes out, and Raw ends with Shawn hitting sweet chin music.

Well Raw was OK I guess. British crowds are always bad in my opinion..
Anyway.. anyone think that Jeff Hardy was a let down? He seemed really like, tired! He was out of breath coming down the ramp!

Santino's great. I disliked him at first but I find him so funny. Him and his insults made towards Stone Cold and The Condemned are brilliant, so funny.
His accent adds to it all. If it was done by someone else without his accent, they wouldn't be able to pull it off as good as Santino does.
He's class!
And Maria's just hot as hell.
Had to add that. ;)
They need to get rid of Val Venis though. Terrible wrestler and terrible role and doesn't deserve to be wrestling Santino.

Im not a big fan of 'The big valvoski' and I to belive that they shoiuld get rid of him. But they wont. He played a big part in the attitude era
I went to SD/ECW in Nottingham last night :D! Good night!
Howard Finkle was the ring announcer and welcomed us all, he introduced the ECW GM, Armando and he ran down a few of the matches...
Matches and results are: (in order)
Duece and Domino with Cherry vs Jesse and Festus - Jesse and Festus won.
Michelle McCool and another Diva vs Victoria and another diva (didn't catch their names but my hand got slapped by Michelle McCool and her partner, who won the match)
Dave Taylor vs Some new person, never seen him before.
Dave Taylor won the match.
Chuck Palumbo vs Kevin Thorn - Winner was Chuck.
Matt Hardy vs MVP for the United States Championship; before the match started, MVP and Hardy had a little contest to see who had the best t-shirt. Good match, MVP won with a roll up and a pull of the trousers...
Duece and Domino came out to attack MVP and Hardy but MVP and Hardy fought them off, MVP wanted to shake Hardys hand and hardy went to shake it but MVP tried to get a cheap shot but hardy countered it into a twist of fate.
We then went on a break for 10/15 minutes.
When we returned it was CM Punk vs John Morrison for the ECW title, Punk won by doing his finisher but striker came out to attack CM punk and big daddy V followed.
Chris Masters & Finlay vs Kane & The Undertaker.
Great match and Undertakers entrance is awesome. Back and forth match, finlay used his stick thingy a couple of times on Kanes leg and i think Chris masters is injured as one ref and a medical person came out to him and tended to him at ring side for about 5 minutes and then brought him backstage, leaving Finlay on his own... well, atleast we thought so untill Hornswoggle appeared!!! Obviously he didn't do much, taker had Finlay and hornswoggle by the throat but chucked hornswoggle out the ring and then hornswoggle ran back stage. Kane and Undertaker gave a double chokeslam to Finlay and then taker did his Tombstone for the win.
Last but not least it was our Main event and also the quickest match of the night...
Rey Mysterio vs The Great Khali (at the start of the night, Armando said Khali was 7ft 9) vs Batista for the World heavyweight championship.
Typicall match ending, 619 to batista, when mysterio went to jump of the rope for the pin, Khali chopped his head and mysterio fell to the outside, then a spinebuster to Khali for the 123.
After the match, Batista and Rey stayed in the ring hyping the crowd up to see which section was the loudest and at the end they played Eddie Guerrero's music. Batista then went around the ring and ramp slapping fans hands, i got my hand it :D.
Howard finkle then thanked us for coming.
The event started at 7:35ish and finished at 10:50; Also Jamie Noble was sitting at the sound desk.
I am uploading some pictures and two 30 second or so movie clips.

Hardy just needs either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship to become a Grand Slam Champion, There's only 3 people who can become Grand Slam Champions now that the European Championship is retired, Thats Jeff Hardy, Val Venis and Randy Orton, Hardy and Venis needing either the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight and Orton needed the Intercontiental.
What do you guys think of all this SAVE US 222 Stuff, Here's my thoughts.
I saw this on a forum a week ago and this is what I and they think
This was the text in the video and this is what they probably mean
Save_Us.222: I know for a fact I have been seeing signs on RAW that say "Save Us Jericho", maybe WWE picked up on this and ran with it
- CHAMP_HARD: Jericho was a former WWE Hardcore Champion
- SMACK_BROUGHT1: Jericho was on SmackDown and on his debut, he brought the "smack" to The Rock. Also, remember back when Jericho interviewed the #1 Draft Pick from SD!, John Cena. Jericho was also brought over from RAW to SmackDown.
- CD_VOLUME4_1: This might be the most significant clue, as Jericho's theme Break The Walls Down was the first track on the 4th WWE Music CD
- WM00_MATCH and WM_MATCH_TRI: Jericho wrestled Benoit and Angle in the Triple Threat Match at WM
- LIVEWIRE: A song by Jericho's band, Fozzy, also an old show, WWE Livewire
- TALENT_PRE: Obvious, Jericho was a former WWE talent
- BAT_***_WEEK: A reference to Jericho on VH1's Best Week Ever? Or a clue at Jericho's obvious humor side
- JVC_FIX: A former WWE sponsor
- PROMO_99: Jericho's WWE debut came in 1999 and he cut that infamous promo on The Rock
- 7_OCT: WWE's No Mercy PPV in October
- RAW_DOUBLE_FIN and RAW_REV: A possible reference to the match against Triple H on RAW which Jericho had won, or so we thought, only to see Triple H void the title change. Also, Jericho and Chyna both won the WWE IC Title on a double pin.
- KOR_Qualify13_60: Jericho qualified for the King of the Ring twice
- r/shara/catman/a_man/cat1: A Lionheart reference, maybe
- share/Insight/library/SGI_book... Possible reference to Jericho's book
- RAW_REV_MAY2.action: Jericho defeated Benoit for the WWE IC Title on May 2, 2000
- BIG_SHOW: This is the only name that means anything that is in the promo, so WWE could have thrown it in there just to confuse the fans. Also, with the above mentioned CHAMP_HARD, Jericho defeated Big Show for the Hardcore title in 2001.
- RAW_WAR_BUMPER: RAW is WAR was the catchphrase back when Y2J was around, and he often "bumped" the phrase around to say RAW is Jericho
- DISP_CHAMP: A possible reference to Jericho's reign as WWE Undisputed Champion
- giga/flame_5.0.7OCT/action: WWE No Mercy starts at 5:00PM on October 7th
- Also, according to his official website, his book signing tour starts on 10/25, and none of those dates are for Mondays. Also, I'm pretty sure WWE Cyber Sunday is the 222nd WWE PPV, though I could be wrong. I guess it would be possible that the SAVE_US.222 could countdown and change to SAVE_US.22J then end with SAVE_US.Y2J.
If you listen closely on the video, you will definitley hear a voice whisper "I'm Back" and it also sounds like there may be a "Lionheart" whisper in there as well. The video even counts down from 6 to 1, kind of like his old WWE Y2J debut promo did. If that isn't enough to add speculation to the fire, The Allstate Arena in Chicago. where WWE No Mercy will be held this year, is the same place that Jericho made his original debut with WWE.
The whole "Save Us" could trace back to when Jericho came to WWE originally, his whole schtick was that he was here to "Save the WWE" and in many of his old promos, he always refers to being a "saviour" and stuff. In another interesting note, WWE Cyber Sunday is being held in Washington, D.C. which is the last place Jericho wrestled a WWE PPV match.
There's also a slight reference to the Bible verse, Joshua 2, Verse 2 (Joshua 2:2) which is: "The king of Jericho was told, "Look! Some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land." 3 So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: "Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land." The Bible verse, Joshua 2, Verse 22 contains no Jericho reference: When they left, they went into the hills and stayed there three days, until the pursuers had searched all along the road and returned without finding them.
Now I realize that all of these clues and guesses are taking a long shot, and some of them may have been thrown in there by WWE just to fool with the fans. Whether it really does mean Jericho's return or not, Cyber Sunday or No Mercy, it is still a great new angle for WWE to come up with to get the fans excited again after the disappointing "Illegitimate Son" storyline.
Also theres a Youtube video made by yours truley proving even more evidence. Which Ill post when it uploads

I'm sure most of you know this by now. But for those who are unaware, and are planning on ordering Cyber Sunday for Jericho....don't. The USA network has asked WWE to postpone Jericho's return for RAW because of sub-par ratings. (Hence the Save_Us.X29 on Monday)
We all know Vince slobs the networks, plus Jericho has a book signing in Philly that day.

I think they count the stipulation ones, but rig the storyline ones.
Like HBK will face Orton to keep up with the storyline.

They always set the hardyz up for the big time and take it away from them!
Mind you , they both have titles but Matts is purely for story as Jeff doesn't do much defending of his does he?
I loved the old days of them being nutts!

I don't think they are rigged, they'll have a storyline for each selection. They are guaranteed that Kennedy won't win so they don't really have to bother, but for Hardy they could give him a push to face Orton while HBK has a fued with Kennedy.
I voted for Hardy like 20 times already, I hope he wins just so it'll mess up the storylines.

It's where you have to get your opponent on a stretcher and carry them over the line, at the top of the ramp. Most of the time the match is crap.
Hardy/MVP Defeat FINLAY/REY
Matt Needs 35 Stiches as Reys Knee Brace hits hardy in the head.

I watched RAW last night and Jericho didnt show.
They showed another SAVE_US_222 Video which you can watch on the WWE site.
The last match was good (HHH v. Umaga/Randy Orton) in a handicap match.
HBK came out and DX reunited for 1 night.
:P So much for Y2J Defo returning ;)
Anyway, the save_us vid they showed had 19 on it, so im thinking 19th november, day after survivor series.
