Some planes are built in with cargo doors, some aren't , you need to change the settings for the key assignments in the settings menu on fs for wingfold and tailhok and sometimes you press that to open the cargo ones.

Extract the aircraft into My computer --> Local disk --> Program files --> Microsoft games --> Flight simulator 9 --> Aircraft

My 2004 sliders are set to max, and the resolution is set to my correct resolution.. and my target frame rate is unlimited etc..

My graphics card is SiS Mirage Graphics, I dont think I have a panel for it.

Emirates, once you have downloaded the plane, and put it into the folders, you do have to restart FS for it to work :)

The main reason you have to restart is because even if the plane is there when you click "OK" sometimes it switches to another plane you have installed. So it's always best to restart the flight simulator :)

Yup all traffic airbourne or in an emergency comes first, you just have to tell the controler what you want to do and then sit back and wait for a call back - He will get back to you, maybe instantly or maybe in 20 minutes.

You've got to remember that controlers have to keep everybody spaced out, even on the ground.

Hell of alot of traffic last night, but you managed to do it Mr. Marks - Well done :)

Right Goto Flight sim. Get A Flight Going At The Terminal. PRess ALT. THe Goto Modules. Goto Start Squakbox. Then Goto Start On Squabox - Conect. Type In THe Details. Then Press ALT and goto flights - goto multiplayer and it should say sqaukbox. For ip type in localhost. There!

Just thought I'd make a new thread because I'm bored, today myself and Tucker [Liberation] followed a day in the life of many Southwest pilots, eqquiped with out PMDG 737-700's and Southwest liverys we set off from KLAX - KOAK, once landed in KOAK we set back off to KLAS, it doesnt sound long, but it took up most of our night.

Soooooooooo much easier than text, plus more realistic.

Real life they only ever send text messages to the FMC in a hijack or such like.

They would also be able to execute commands straight after they'd been told them because there would be 2 pilots :P Its hard programming the fmc, getting the plane ready and trying to keep up with ATC without text xD

Right tom When I takeoff I use full throttle on v2 I use 3/4 throttle, steady my speed, and hit the autothrottle button and autopilot switch, at 215 knots, I put my flaps in and make my speed at 240 until 10000ft and then I accelerated as the speed restriction is lifted off. I don't think your 'problem' should would of happened if you did that so try that and see what happens ;)

Yes, declare a pan pan, its not a real emergency as aborting takeoffs are really common, Adam has had a aborted takeoff whilst piloting his little piper if I remember correctly its because he didn't turn the transponder?

After V1 aborting takeoff isn't possible and you must rotate.

I've aborted takeoff real life in a piper due to a faulty transponder, just slam the brakes on really.

In a 737 pretty easy, spoilers, reversers (if needed) and toe brake :)

No need to declare an emergency on the ground, RTO (rejected takeoffs) are common and are prefectly normal.

V1 is the maximum safe speed to abort takeoff, you proberbly would stop in time but there has to be a limit somewhere! :)

you press shift + 2 or 2 ? that won't do it, and you don't need to be in virtual cockpit.

Well yeah, it shows up as a view but you can move through the plane too. I fly in my Virtual Cockpit 24/7 so I get the most realistic experience I can and it is fun.

About 2 hours. I was very far behind because of AutoPilot/FMC Altitude problems, then when I switched through my views, with about 45 minutes to go FS Crashed, so I reloaded, went to the airport were the others were about to land and grabbed a few shots =]

I would also do it but I can't land! Ive had fs for 2 months and I only just worked out how to use autopilot.. I can do autoland but it won't line up with runway and just trys to land at the side and then circles the airport 24/7 :/

Thanks :P Ill try it, I was taxiing to runway 23L at EGCC, Just crossed the first runway and reported vacated then the throttle Zoomed up and the plane just wouldn't stop. I don't think flaps, reverse thrust and breaks would have slowed down 4 Jet engines running at full pelt.
