Copied from the text file on the DBS walk and follow I uploaded, a few months ago.

Alright here is how it goes:



1. Make sure you see the "DBS Studio" option on your menu (Alt)

2. You should see Cockpit Walk, something else (can't remember) and Walk and Follow.

Follow mode is when you can walk around, but when the aircraft moves, the camera follows it.

Walk mode is when you can walk around, but the camer doesn't follow it (kinda like real life aircraft spotting)

Here is how to use Walk and Follow:

NUMPAD / = follow mode

NUMPAD * = Walk mode

To look around = Click (left click) and HOLD on your mouse. Move the mouse (while holding) to look around.

CTRL + SHIFT + 1, 2, 3, etc = save views in Walk and/or Follow mode. (Note) you can only store 10 views in Follow and/or Walk mode.

CTRL + 1, 2, 3, etc = go to your saved view in Follow and/or Walk mode.

CTRL + NUMPAD - / + for Traffic walk (this is pretty much walk mode exept it is with AI planes [multiple])

NUMPAD 8 = walk forward

NUMPAD 2 = Walk backward

NUMPAD 7 = look up

NUMPAD 1 = look down

NUMPAD 4 = Walk left

NUMPAD 6 = Walk right

NUMPAD 9 = go up

NUMPAD 3 = go down

Numpad 5 = Return to Initial point (where you started from)



Note: These controls are the same for Follow and Walk mode.

In order to complete the flight at the stand you start at you have to turn the engines off, and once you pushback you have to start them up again.

However, when you start them up again, the autothrottle switch does not arm, meaning that the autopilot can not control the speed of the aircraft.

This is in a PMDG 737-800.

Can anyone help? Usually I have to re-load the aircraft, meaning I have to do all the FMC again. +rep to any USEFUL replies.

Right Matt being a BAV Pilot to all do is load up with the engines on then just cut the fuel turning the engines off, then put them back ready for when i need to start. then i puush back and starting the engines when they both started you have to go in to your over head panel and turn turn your APU on back on because when the engines are turn off it turn off your APU.

Well, Me and Matt took off from EGCC with a great controller, Adam Cooke! Well done Adam, putting up with the likes of me :D After my 2 BSODs *cough*NOD32*cough* :rolleyes: and Matt's 1337ness we managed to get up in the air!

Then Matt's squawkbox disappeared and he quit :( so I did too. But managed to get these, I really couldn't be bothered to edit them what so ever because I suck at editing.

They dont, you have to save them or use FSScrean, or faststone capture , FSsnapper etc.

If you have an nvidia card you might know this.
How if you put the AA higher that 4x you got no display screen. Its fixeed in the latest drivers.
It also eliminated what was under squawkbox.

rite im new to all this but ive been using the gps system thingy to help me navigate to the destination airports, i was just wondering if theres a simpler way to do this coz on the gps thing its just a straight line and i dont know which way to approach from.

Not really, i think its pretty easy to be honest.to you maybe, to a beginner like myself its a bit more complicated having to use like 3 programs just to get a screenie.

Basically, easy thing to start with to get you from A to B would be;

Download vasFMC off there, but you will also need updated data etc, which I can get a link to later on.

To find your route to input into vasFMC, go to;

http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/

For example you would input the ICAO of both ARR/DEP airports. E.G EGKK = Gatwick or EGCC = Manchester

Ill post abit more later on, and sorry as I didnt type of explain that well.

On each plane there's like different icons which are smallish squares and they have like GPS, Kneeboard, Map, Radio, Compass and ATc etc.

atc doesnt give directiosn it just says '20 miles eleven o clock' or something =[

Right it tells you what altitude to do and what direction / heading to go and that tells you where to go and that helps you approach the airport.

It was the shadowing of the underside of the aircraft that caused this to happen. They were originally the color they should be as I took it straight from the .eps Logo ;P
