This isn't about flight sim, but I figured it would be better in this forum than any other.. As it is regarding a Ryanair 737-800 and will get the most appropriate replies!

First off let me start by saying the captains for both legs (EGSS-LERS and LERS-EGSS) where complete and utter idiots.. They rambled on about lots of useless information etc..

Coming home today was funny, the pilot was chatting rubbish about "Oh when I drop you off in Stansted im going to Riga and my flight route there is BLEH" - Everybody was like why the hell are you telling us that? - The thing that cracked me up was "Oh the weather for stansted is err well I don't know because when we took off a few hours ago it was dark and we couldn't really see what we was doing so I don't know!" - Errr, press a few buttons and tell us?!?! - He then told us to look to the right hand side to see a Airbus Beluga 2000ft below us, err we don't want to see it?!?!?!?!?!? - Then he did the most pathetic, chavish announcement "We're enterin' LUnduNZ airspace, and ATC wanna chat to me so yea I'm gonna havva go now we land in 25 minutes.. Cheers bye" - It was just so ughhhhh!

Underneath my UK2000 Part 6 scenery I can see the original FS9 Scenery, and its really noticable on the arrows on either end of the runway...

So, I got home and installed FS2004. I have a question. Are most people here using FS2004? Because the graphics were absolute crap! I turned everything up to maximum, and it was awful. Admittedly, I was flying in Australia, so it might have been due to that, but still, very jagged.

Also, is there anyway I can make the cockpit instrument panel smaller? It's all huge and pixelated at the moment, and I'd prefer to be able to see more out of the cockpit window.

Admittedly I have never played this game, however in my opinion games are about game play and not so much graphics thus meaning that if it has good game play and it's fun it shouldn't matter about graphics. Or maybe you have a low Graphics Card etc?

I may be able to, like 2/10 chance lol. As long as the FMC is setup and they have airport charts Im pretty sure I could declare a mayday and then use ILS to land a 767 lmao.

Its SO easy to land small prop planes though =/ Flight sim makes it harder than it is irl

If I couldn't set the ILS up, im sure an Engineer at ATC could walk me through it :P

I would just go on to ATC and declare a mayday, stating the problem.. Ask for vectors to the ILS at an airport and then proberbly get it on the ground without too many problems!

Anyways, If that was the situation all pilots out and knowone else on board. They'd have to let the person with the most experience on a game. I'd say no matter the age aslong someone can help them with some controls.

Because pilots can't tell a older person with no experience what to do... Plus you'd be more confident if you played it on a game.

yeah that's integrated. If your case is small that's bad as most modern cards have large heatsinks or fans. Your power supply may not be so good either.

I let my brother play (19) as he trys to make me crash sometimes lol when flying.

So I said ok try fly this plane. My 11 year old sister could fly it so he tryed.
Blew the engine and tumbled down the mountains, what I didnt get was I try to help him get it under control but for about 2 minutes it kept flipping over and over and over lol.

I managed to stop it in the mountains, But the crash landing he made wasn't well at all LOL. nose first.

You don't land them on runways. You land them at Aerodromes, such as Barton. (City Airport Manchester, these days)
