Mine gets jaggys like that. But they get better and better when you turn up the resolution in game.

I turn my reso to the 1 above 1028, but it lags me.

So I only use that resolution for screenshots..

Very Strange. Mess around with the IRS Area (Top left) on your overhead panel. Make sure theres no yellow messages around on the overhead and also make sure your battery is on. Also double check your 4 engines are running normal.

I dunno if there is an avionics switch in PMDG, but just look for a small rectangle kinda switch with Avionics beside it. Probably on your main control panel

This "Switch" is kinda unknown in the PMDG 747. Its not like your normal default panels this. Most of the times, you can turn the engines off and the panel goes with it or sometimes you got to turn it all to the "Cold & Dark" in the overhead.

I was just following the guide and it told me to leave the Hydraulic things off and the fuel pumps off.




Turn on all fuel XFEED (crossfeed) switches. Fuel crossfeeds distribute fuel between fuel tanks. Enabling the XFEED now ensures that if fuel is loaded into the aircraft on the ground that it can flow freely throughout the system. As your plane may be fairly full of fuel on departure, this also ensures that the XFEED switches remain on once the engines are started. The switches display horizontal lines when the XFEED is ON. The engine 2 and engine 3 XFEED switches have guards - right click if you need to open them.

Ensure all fuel pumps are OFF. There should be no ON indicators illuminated for any of the 16 fuel pumps.

Ensure that the Hydraulic DEMAND pump switches are set to OFF.

Depends on your full system specs. Like processor and Graphics card. Although I suggest 1GB of ram.

As you may or not know. I did a 2 Hour and 46 (2:46) flight to Dionysios Solomos (Zante) from Manchester. I used the Boeing 767-300 and the MyTravel Repaint. I did this for two reasons; 1. I did this flight in real life this year. 2. To get some more hours on vatsim and for fun. Hope you enjoy and comment. Thanks.

I installed FS9 earlier so that I could use fsnav when playing online. I can't seem to get squawk box to work though?

I am using windows vista. Matt garner says he uses vista and has it working so I dont quite get whats going on :S.

The program launches and loads but when it gets to fetching network info from vatsim, it errors. If I launch squawkbox it in game, it hangs forever.

Any ideas?

Perhaps FSInn would be the better choice if you are unable to get squawkbox to function. You know for sure that works with Vista.

I think hes sorted it out. He had to uninstall FSX then reinstall Squawk for it to work with FS9. Not sure on any more updates as I went offline.

Its a 26.7mb update that addresses improvements to performance and adds 160 bridge models that are missing.

This is an old update but I am sure there are a few of you that don't know about it :).

Just search on msn.com "microsoft flight simulator 2004 update".

You do know that "FSNav" can use old routes. And if your on vatsim well aren't you buggered lol.

You can use a 747 if you wish. Just make sure you can land on short runways. Looking at it, the airport only sees like 737s :P But yeah fly a 747
