The PMDG can be frame rate UN-friendly. Try a different aircraft to see if you have the same problem. If you do I suggest re-installing.

I doubt it would be the graphics card because mines the suckiest intergrated graphics you can get and it works good with good framerates.

And also he said that he used to get good framerates, so it can't be the ram. So I suggest reinstalling.

Trim your aircraft, I can trim my cessna and fly hands free while on my flights. To trim;
turn your pitch trim wheel up or down depening which way you are going hands off, so if your aircraft is going down, turn the wheel down and vice versa.

If your running detailed payware aircraft, that might be the problem. Try a simple default plane for a start then if you have same problem. You either need to upgrade / reinstall FS.

are you sure its an actual aircraft and not just textures? Under the file look to see if it has the folders, panel, sound, textures and model. Also, try any and see if its there.

hi Mr Jihad... it shouldn't matter. Whenever I install aircraft, generally payware ones, they will be added automatically. try selecting the "all aircraft" list and go through them to see if it's added under that.

Bad idea. Why? A VA on habboxforum will never get lifted. There are many VAs out there who want to be a VA but never get to be one. I seen this on FSW so many times, they just close down. Although there is some fantastic and amazing Virtual Airlines out there.

Yea most people on here recomend a saitek one you can spend as little as £15 or as mutch on £100 + on one it is your choice

Also i would advise small aircraft first then move onto the big ones by small i mean stuff like mooney bravos.

Also start by tring to take off and keep doing it till you get it right then do a smallflight and try and land and keep doing it till you get goood

i'm just wondering though, i've had it for a month... and to be honest - i've not made that much process, most of what is in this forum seems like gibberish to me,

how long did it take you to catch onto it lol..?

also, I notice that a lot of you fly different airlines... not the defaults on the game - how do I download the different airlines/themes, whatever you like to call them?

The different airlines are planes we download from websites. Like;

www.avsim.net
www.projectopensky.com
www.ifdg.net

I don't remember how it took me, but today I fly Airlines and use FMC. So yeah.

yeah get a joystick its so much easier than a keyboard. I have a Saitek Pro ST290, only about £30, dno how much that is in dollars.

and to get aircraft go to www.avsim.com and when you're searching for an airline or something click in the drop down list Flight Simulator 2004 - Original Aircraft

then when you've downloaded it just move the whole folder into the C-windows-microsoft games-fs2004-aircraft

and voila.

I've decided to come back to HxFxFS <-- LOL. Its just not the same without you all :P. Anywhoo - Phil aka EasyJet who runs the competition handed it over to me as his Mum deleted his FS for him to concentrate on his A levels. This is the way i'll be running it.

If you could suggest the programs I could use with FS9.

I unistalled FS9 but do I need that to use squarkbox?

Also tips and any useful phrases needed in ATC.

I will be learning over the next few weeks then start onto FS9.
