Overland (you need to do your torrent on this)

To get a selection of Boeing and Airbus planes.

The Level D 767-300 (torrent again) and the PMDG 737 and PMDG 747 (torrent etc)

All the above are payware but you know.

hunt on isohunt.com search stuff like PMDG ETC.. (DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK)

Hey! Well first off, If you have a super computer, then I recommend you buy FSX - You would probably need about a gig of ram free to run this decently..

480MB RAM + Can take FS2004 And FS2002 (I rec 2004 as it has MANY addon's etc)

Please feel free to PM me for my msn addy and I'll help you further into buying, prices & where to get it from.

All together if you buy FS2004 + A Chepish joystick it will come to about £60 GBP.

Welcome back, I just do Auto level, change things around in colour balance, put some contrast on and change the levels :P I would give you screen shots of what I do in Photoshop. But I'm currently flying BAW93, In the PMDG 747 from Manchester to Vienna. Small route for the 747 but I love to fly this bird now so who cares? :P

I was in unicom (122.8) so no controllers. It was the pilot it took him about 10-20 minutes until he could reply to me <_<

Anyway traffic at LOWW:

I'm CPA93, Although I was BAW93 it messed up on Fsnav, nothing affected Vatsim. I don't use Fsnav to fly my plane I just use it for a map use only, FMC FTW! ;]

I registered on VATSIM and Adam told me to download Sqawkbox, i did that, then i thought you just start sqawkbox and go to multiplayer on flight sim?

I tested fsx on an old 1.4GhZ and 480mb ram.. deleted all the un-needed Sys32 files.. (literally everythiung) and I still couldnt run it on full..

Heyyyy. I've noticed in night screenshots the airplanes have lights coming from their engines. I know how to turn ALL lights on but none of my airplanes have them..? Not even the defaults. ( :( )

Hello there, The light's are not comign from the engines it just looks like it. Maybe the plane your using doesn't have good lighting? Anyway I use this cool thing I found off vatsim, it changes my airport lights and planes light look uber cool.

Ok, 've had the flight simulators for a while, and i want to start flying with Vatsim, ecept one problem, i haven't a CLUE how to. How do i connect, how do i book flights ETC, i have a vatsim account, and am currently running FSX, thats all i know at the moment.

I don't actually play it but I'm fairly certain you're meant to line up as best you can from quite a distance before even trying to land and then slow down so you don't overshoot?
I don't know just seems like the right thing to do xD
You'll need to get the people with all this aircraft stuff in there name and sigs and stuff for reliable advise xD

Usually real life and vatsim controlers want to establish you (line you up) at the very least 8 miles, however sometimes shorter and usually longer (10-15 miles, upto 20ish).

However, there are some airports where you litrally turn finals 0.5 miles before the runway and have to basically drop your plane out the sky - But for n00**, I wouldn't try it, it's difficult.

CAP413 is the CAA "Radiotelephony manual" which explains everything ATC will say to you and what pilots should say to them.

It's 198 pages so just select the section you wish to read rather than reading the whole lot (Or read it all like I did if you please).

It's very informative and helps solves arguments in some cases!

Matt's came to your help again.

1. Download http://www.precisionmanuals.com/file_library/misc/PMDG_737_REMOVE.EXE

This should remove all the PMDG stuff so it should get rid of it from your menu bar.

2. It's fine to have Modules there, so you might as well keep that :)
