At air cadets i'm incharge of flight simulator operations, and they've just got new computers, so i've installed FSX Deluxe on them.
Anyway, i need to put the RAF fleet onto the simulator and i've been looking for a list but can't find one.

It's not pointless, in the download thread in this forum there is a kneeboard utility to go on the internet in flight simulator. With that you can pot in this thread and post what flights you are doing so people might see you or fly with you.

NEWSFLASH - 2300z 18/03/2008

SOLD OUT - All of the 302 available slots are now booked.

There are 12 Concorde flights, all of which should have received emails informing them their flight level has been changed to FL400 as a starting level for their cruise. This is just to differentiate them from the other traffic, as we cannot assign a block level. They will of course also receive special routings via NAT SM at the same time as everybody else receives their flight plan.

Will you be staying up late on Friday night to receive your finalised flight details as soon as they are sent?

This level of flights is an unprecedented achievement. There will be multiple emails sent out in the next few days with bulletins, updates, food for thought etc.

We know there are issues with the servers, but there is little we can do about it.

I hope you enjoy the event.

I've decided to try and make my own BBJ. I'm not yet sure what program to buy for the modelling yet, as this is where I will need your advice. Any tips on which is the best program and easiest to use for FS2004 modelling would be a great help.

Moving on.

I have been ask to enlist some of the features that we hope to include in our BBJ products if we ever get there. (Fingers Crossed) A few, if not all of these features are.

Highly detailed cockpit and perhaps a virtual cockpit with gauges. Overhead etc included.
A few cars that come with the package for added realism.
A pushback tug, with views from the drivers side, fully operational.
Winglets & Non winglets version included.
Loads of Business Jet repaints.

You may be thinking, wow this is great but what about the price, or is it freeware? - I have decided that BETA test spaces will be reserved (apps will be out soon) and the BETA testers will get to choose if they think its payware quality or not. Furthermore we already have BBJ pilots agreeing to test the aircraft for realism etc.

I need someone to come up with me and take pictures, which means I have to pay £25 for an instructor.. So who actually wants real life pictures?

If you mean on FS, just push buttons. Got me flying :p I then well, went into the water. (this is on FS2004)

All depends on what aircraft, flaps are not as important in lets say a PA28 than they are in a 737-800.

Practice makes perfect, if you really have to do some of the flying lessons built in on flight sim 2004.

Oh and im crap at decent, my nose is pointing too low i think, whereas it should just be about 5 degrees down, whereas because im crap at it, i end up going 20 degrees otherwise i overshoot the runway 8-).

Start your decent a little earlier then, reduce your speed, apply a little flap possibily, and just keep on a reasonable hight with the runway.

People have a passion for Flight Simulator, control-wise it's pretty much the real thing. The terrorists involved in 9/11 (despite the fact that I follow 9/11 conspiracy theories), reportedly used a Microsoft Flight Simulator in conjunction with very limited actual training. If you master the game, you pretty much know how to control that particular aircraft.

As to joysticks... Best one is going to be a Saitek x52 but that is £70. Microsoft sidewinders are good but bulky. Atm Im using a Saitek ST90 but it lacks features.

PMDG isnt freeware but it gets pirated.
