Condensation is when hold and cold air mix. So i imagine the hot air from the engines, travels over the wing area creating the condensation.

If you want to start flying lessons look around for flying schools, there will be one at your local airfield - Well, most anyway! :P - I pay £130 a lesson for a PA28 but people in London and other places pay up to £200 a lesson - Price varys where you are :p

I understand about the "Vehicles and Transport" But i also think this forum should be for Aviation and Flight Simulator. It would make sense has the people who take more care, look in this forum more often then scrolling down to check out the transport one.

PA28 is a lovely aircraft to fly, it performs well in bad weather - You've just got to put the right inputs in and you'll sail through without any problems - Rough, yes, problems, no! :)

Well. It wasnt a lesson, it was a friend who took me up. I suppose we could have gone up, but by that time, he had done the sign out documents or whatever he had to do. So would have been more hassle doing it all again etc.

I have reached the conclusion that 99% of the people on the Flight Simulator forum on Habbox talk rubbish, don’t have a clue what they are talking about and are not prepared to learn.

This forum is full of screenshots; it should be full of professional discussion, but... As you’re all very young, I don’t expect you to know it all! – You should at least be prepared to learn.

Cross the Pond will take place on 22nd March 2008, with departure times running from 1100z to 1700z.

There will be 10 departures per hour from Glasgow, 15 departures per hour from Manchester, and 30 departures per hour from London Heathrow.

The arrival airfields are Montreal (CYUL), Washington (KIAD), Boston (KBOS) and Newark (KEWR) .

There will be 330 bookable flights in total across the whole 6 hours.

Yeh but its blurred in all different ways, motion blur is just going 1 way, and really, do we get Motion blur in real life? I mean, if a plane is infront of the runway, about 200 feet up, we already know whats going to happen without the blur! :P

I've never posted in this area of the forums before but I would like to say when I watch people flying so professionally on Flight simulator it really amazes me it's so cool. I've got flight simulator but am not stupid enough to go on a professional server because I know I'd piss everyone off I did however go on the FSX server or something and everyone was taking off from the boarding gate lmao there were planes everwhere but anyway meh I'd love to learn to do it professionally one day and like somebody else said maybe someone could write a good tutorial for us noobish pilots :)

Some people who post on flight simulator forums arent people who use Vatsim, I've played flight simulator for a few years now, I have no intention of becoming a pilot or an air traffic controller and the reason I've stayed away from vatsim etc is because people who are new to speaking pilot & controller slang would probably be slated, as I've seen it happen from people to others on this forum before.

The flight simulator forum isnt merely for vatsim discussion, and goings on vatsim and to learn. Sharing screenshots of things is good, and I do enjoy seeing what add-ons people have installed on their computers, and awesome graphics they have..... Naru and MattGarner to name a few.....

I think you take Flight Simulator and the thread discussions too serious and perhaps you should be moving onto professional flight simulator discussion boards where its all about how things are done perfect etc. Not everyone who plays flight simulator and other simulation games has the intention of having the job as a career.

BA-Virgin = airlines.

Airbus-Boeing= aircraft manufacturers.

Airbus-Boeing sell planes to BA-Virgin and the airliners do not make them.

No, when your landing and 80Kts is called you disengage reverse thrust so you use breaks to slow to taxi speed as you turn off the runway.

Once your breaks and reverse thrust combines to get you to eighty knots, you release the reverse thrust levers, continuing to break to 40 knots, and free roll down the runway down that speed, untill your desired / assigned exit comes. In some cases reverse thrust isn't always needed. (Your exit could be the second to last on the runway. At busy airports etc, E.G Heathrow.
