I don't think ATC would be too happy with you flying that about on VATSIM.. But it wouldn't be against the rules if you took it up from an uncontrolled airfield :) - Try and stay out of the way of the big jets though, they won't wait around for you to get out the way.

What a beautiful place on FS! I used default scenery as well. Anyway, here are screenies from my flight today which crashed about 1/6 into flight. Was flying Almeria - Manchester but here are screenies of takeoff at almeria! I put most things in fs settings to max weird, my graphics got a little better and my frames got better :P

ye jaffa's right.I have FSX and its brilliant in my opinion. i have 1gb ram aswell and it runs fine. the missions in FSX mainly consist of performing airshows in Extra 300s or making emergency landings.
Others are like airline runs and tutorials. The graphics are good tho on FSX, so it depends.
I have the deluxe version which gives me more missions and planes and such.
But really, its up to you

Does that look normal? I've turned everything up to max in the display options, but still doesn't look as good as everyone elses... I hate the size of the cockpit too. I swear it wasn't that big when I used to play FS 95 :P

I never had that happen to me, Try slowing down without the speed brake and see if you still do tail stikes. Anyway, you could of done a go around, I guess? Lol.

Go to FS2004, FSX your GFX card doesnt sound up to it neither does your CPU or RAM. It will just look crap unless you upgrade to great PC.

that lookd pretty good actually lol. If anyones interested if you have an ATI card then simply right click the ati box in the right hand corner of screen by the time and go on settings and display. After that, click Direct 3D on the box that pops up 2nd an untick all the boxes and turn them up to full. Then click on OpenGL and do the same :] and Put vertical sync in the middle one.

speedbrake probably slowed the plane down so much, so it almost stalled, which myke may have then pulled the nose up, causing a tailstrike.

Some are freeware, others you have to pay for.

Basically they 'addon' things to your FS to improve it. Such as extra scenery to improve default. Like an upgrade to for example a PC, addon stuff to improve it.

Some are free (www.avsim.com) some arn't search FS Addons or something on Google.

that lookd pretty good actually lol. If anyones interested if you have an ATI card then simply right click the ati box in the right hand corner of screen by the time and go on settings and display. After that, click Direct 3D on the box that pops up 2nd an untick all the boxes and turn them up to full. Then click on OpenGL and do the same :] and Put vertical sync in the middle one.

but infomation letter is just letter they give for every new atis

report aircraft type for them means to sort aircraft out for taxi so they get most use out of the runway and infomation letter is use so the controller knowns if you have the most update infomation such as winds and vis ect ect

so they can give you any update which made have changes

Yeah, Like at Manchester you see a line of 767, 757s, 747, 777s and these little planes jump the queue. Very funny to watch, like you can see the big pilots putting two fingers up at the smaller planes or the other way round ;]

You know what they are, things like "Bristol ATC" or "FSX4U". "professional" (so they claim) groups that provide "idiot" free sessions for people to practise professional flying. i used to be a member of FSX4U until i realised how lax their security was, anyone could get in and ruin the session.

As for cost, no, just a quick test and your free to go. they send you the password and when u see the session on the multiplayer menu, you can join it, with no "Idiots" flying around

as for Vatsim, i go on that more often now as FSX onlnie ahs become a real pain :l

I have had FSX for ages now,
My dad bout it for me.

I havnt really played it much but i have decided i want to start,
I really cba doin all them 'flying lessons'

So a quick guide on how to get up, fly and land succesfully would be nice :D
I have looked on the web but cant really find one.

I guess you just get the nack of it. For practice, take off to a reasonable high, slew back and land it from there. Keep doing that and you will get there one day :]

Remember to use flaps, and keep speed down as you come down and putting it to idle at around 20ft.

You can idle power anytime after the re'**** call out is given, it doesn't have to be when it says. Just a good idea to do it when the scarebus says really, they don't like you not doing what it says so I gather..
