People have said it is, it can be in ways as it makes the plane sink even more. (if i got that right) But many pilots in real life put it up when they need to slow down, nothing too major.

Never apply more than 3/4 speedbrakes while airbourne.

It's not dangerous really, they are there to be used and solong as they're used in the correct manor you won't have a problem! :)

Myke it took around only 30 mins or so. 30-40 I would say. And the paint isnt the best, im actually trying to merge the PSSA320 with the Overland one so I can get more paints. As PSS has shut down, so I cant get any paints what so ever

Have you being slewing? If so, this can cause the engine power to become inbalanced. Just reselect the aircraft if this is the case and it should sort it out =)

Do you have a joystick? If you do calibrate it and check it's straight.

Most likely if the problem still happens when you restart the game.

i had that problem with mine, it was a problem with the joystick, and i had to get a new one despite me continuously calibrating it.

Its a problem with your joystick, The joystick isnt calibrated right and that funny thing on the tail that lets you turn the plane on the ground is abit to the left.

Well i calibrated my joystick and that hasent helped

*** is slewing so i doubt thats it

and all 4 engines were at the same power, i checked the rudder and it said it was centerd (i dont use the rudder anyways....)

I have the same card but I don't get the jaggies for some reason :S I told Adam the nHancer settings I had and editings but they didnt work. But yeah, I presume those are on full.

but how do you like get the steps, baddage loader thing and the other loader thing which goes up to the door to display and work..

In most cases you will need an addon such as AES. because at default airports they dont have moving bridges etc.

You will need AES from Aerosoft. Take a look in my lasts shots and Adams I think to see it. Give you moving jet ways, catering services, fuel trucks, moving stairs, pushback trucks and alot of other stuff.

I saw one at EGSS the other day, apparently it was being moved from pier J onto a remote stand but the tug pushed it too far and it sunk into the grass... From where I was it looked like the gear had collapsed and the engine had fallen off - However, it was half past 11 and very dark outside! :P - Andddd, of course, being Ryanair we where taxying at around 40 knots to our stand! :P

Flight sim is CPU intensive not GPU intensive. However a better GPU does help.

but TBH at the OP.

If you have like Dual Quad core processors but intergrated graphics, that CPU isn't going to help one bit

The reason why I can afford top notch hardware is because that is what I choose to spend my money on. I don't buy much else.

I've given my mate a copy of flight simulator 2004 and we played online for a bit. But he says his graphics aren't good.

He said he's using a Graphics card "Radeon 9200 series 2" or something i just copied that from chat.

Obviously graphics don't matter but he said is that graphics card poor or is there any other ones and tips on making it better?

My graphics used to be poo and they still are to a certain extent and I've learnt to live with them, after all I can fly properly whereas someone with amazing graphics may not be able too. I have been told to get better everything but at the end of the day its the flying that counts.

FL130 is indeed 13000ft, however, a flight level is flown on STANDARD pressure 1013mb (29.92).

An altitude is flown on regional pressure/QNH.

FL13 you will never hear of so don't worry about that.

When a controller says FL320 just goto 32,000 feet. I don't bother with pressure, I just press B, D and A and it sorts my plane our for the pressure and it will keep the altitude right.

When your told to climb to a FLIGHT LEVEL you change your pressure to 1013mb.

When your told to decend to an ALTITUDE you will be given a regional QNH so change your pressure to that.

And Tawn - Your pressure could be set wrong if you just press B and controllers really wont be very happy.

yup, so basically anything above transition altitude (point at which lower airspace changes into upper airspace, in the UK its normally 6000 feet) you use the QNH 1013 and anything below transition airspace, you go on what the controllers tell you / regional QNH
