The Model = PSS. There wasn't a really main fault, it had a wonderful safety record apart from the French crash. More information at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concorde

The Queen used Alpha Alpha (I've been in it) mostly which is now kept for public display and tours at East Fortune Airbase or the "Scottish Muesum of Flight". She doesn't have one nor are any in service. And how the **** can you fit one in a garage?

Rofl make sure there freeware and not payware if u need a site try

www.surclaro.com (http://www.surclaro.com) - register - downloads libery - search ______ - download - save it to a file then do the following

click on extarct all - browse then go to these files in order - my computer - local disk - programme files - microsoft games - Flight simulater 9 -
aircraft - when extrated go to that file and make sure theres no zip files of gauges / effects if so put them in the gauges / effects folder :)

No offence, but autoland is for whimps. Autoland normally lands you at about -500 ft/min to about 300 ft/min. Use the ILS to line up n rubbish, then at your descision height (i normally set it at about 100ft) you can decide weather to continue the landing or not, and at that time if you decide to continue with the landing, switch off the autopilot and flare yourself! You'll land much softer (between -175 and -50 ft/min)

Personally i prefer FS04 because it has good graphics, TONS of addons and runs great on a crappy computer. Never tried FS02 and FSX is just like FS04 but different core, thus having to recode every single addon from scratch and more eye candy! The rest is exactly the same!

God it was my first successful lineup using it.. I wanna atleast try doing autolanding before I start manual.. Start it easy I think so next time I shall turn autopilot off a little bit back from the runway etc etc. ANd finally I will try manually landing.

You will first nee to get a copy of a flight simulator programme. These can be found in most computer shops and online. You may then want to get a joystick and your ready to learn :)

They were over the North Sea area heading to the UK airspace which is Nato Air space etc. We didn't have time for the north sea so we thought we do the Russians over the UK trying to bomb us :P

They were supposedly gathering information, seeing how far they could go without getting intercepted and I believe that they were timing our reflex times.

If you shot them down, trust me, the UK would get ******.

If they entered UK airspace, they would fly as close as possible until they turn away, using special formations they get in training. If that fails, they'd then move on to trying to direct the aircraft away from keypoints or land it. If it fails again, they would then ''shoot to stop''.

I was doing a long flight (my first) in a 747-400 gatwick - france somewhere i think paris but how do i no where im going :S cause when i looked at the map i found it hard to line up with the pink line and i couldnt set my autopilot as i only had the heding i was goin at :'( so does any1 know how to find out where your going????

Note: This is NOT an online flight nor was i using Squawk box and i wasent in range of any airports :(

ahh I haven't been flying on flight simulator for ages now, the reason is, when I fly offline my AI traffic goes really weird and the a/c keep crashing into each other. The atc given me t/o clearence and the ai are all infront of me. This has all happened since I used world of ai traffic so I'm gna go back to vatsim, but has anyone got any other solutions? I might uninstall world of ai traffic, But i'm not sure if I can.

Hes doesn't use payware aircraft to do an autoland, if he was doing auto-approach, if the plane was going out of control, he could of took off the autopilot and done it manually.

They would only make "shoot to seize" contact with the aircraft if it possed as an immenant threat to the UK and ALL attempts at contacting and diverting have failed. Even though I've heard about them flying as close as possible to divert it. Like, arm length close.

You will see these codes when you recieve weather information for your departure/destination airport either by getting it yourself or given to you by ATC.

DZ = Drizzle
RA = Rain
SN = Snow
GR = Hail
SQ = Squalls
GS = Small Hail
GS = Small Grains
IC = Diamond Dust
PE = Ice Pellets
BR = Mist
DU = Widespread Dust
VA = Volcanic Ash
SA = Sand
SS = Sandstorm
DS = Duelstorm
FC = Funnel Cloud (Very dangerous, start of a tornado)

Further information for above:
MI = Shallow
BC = Patches
DR = Drifting
BL = Blowing
SH = Showers
TS = Thunderstorm
FZ = Supercooled (Freezing)

Simple:
RA = Rain
SHRA = Rain Showers
FZFG = Freezing Fog
-DZ = Slight Drizzle
+SHSN = Heavy Snow Showers
CB = Cumulonimbus
TCU = Towering CB.
