I was just wondering, is it possible to be a ATC controller without having the game? I have the game but I do not prefer to fly as much anymore. I want to learn how to be a ATC online with other users.

If it is possible, could you guide me to where I could go to get started?
I heard some places have like people who train you and so on, so anything like that or any guides on the Website. I have got as much spare time as possible in learning how to be a ATC so time is not a problem.
I know the phonetic alphabet, I am a touch typer, brilliant English grammar and can work in calmly in stressful situations or situations where a calm manner is required.

So if you could tell me what programs to download, Website that may provide guiding or training and Website that have well explained tutorials or guides on learning.

ASRC isn't widely used. VRC is more commonly used, and really easy to use. However I use euroscope, which, although is tricky to set up, is a wonderful radar client.

you should use VRC first, its very user friendly, but if you've got vista, you'll have no choice but to use euroscope :(

Well, I have Euroscope installed and its asking for the sector file.
From reading the Euroscope guide I need to edit 2 parts on the runway files.

For now i'll try VRC and then see about Euroscope in the future.

with the landing gear luke when you put it up you see it has off move it to that when your gear fully up :D

and dont worry about the QNH to much aint the end of the world :P

but if you do want to then you see on the last screen shot you see flight Director on the left hand side a across from their you see thing saids "baro" if you click in the middle of that it will change to HPA :)

yes where your looking is correct im not sure what you no but their two parts to OBS test part1 load of boring questions and Part 2 is done when you join an RTS of your choice, the question are base on a local feild of your choice so while your wait to do the test/ get in to an RTS work out what airport you want to do and im sure if you look at the RTS pages their loadssss of infomation on the field read it and read it and have look at the chart because their is question on it. it lots of work at the end but its worth it in long run :)

haha barely anyone will be controlling at 25 to 9 in the morning :P the time when most people are on is probably 5pm - 9pm, usually more at the weekends.

lmaoo you wouldn't get any traffic. as far as im aware people have been on a london position at 5am :| but then again the pilots that are flying through there connected to vatsim are probably fast asleep..

depend on what your pcs is i.e specs so im gonna say FS2004
yes best way to do this is using www.vatsim.net and also help you with flying ect.
as said in last question - www.vatsim.net i think that whaty ever on this forum using i made be wrong.
yes their a setting you can set in fs that if you crash your flight ends but i dont have my set because happed lots of vatsim because of noobs :) tbh if you want to do that then vatsim aint the place.

joystick can cost anything from about 19.99 up to £100.00 but for one your talking about about 19.99 maybe bit more.

fs2004 will run fairly smoothly on almost any computer, it's fsx that you have to be careful with. Those specs look good too.

When I was landing as soon as FSX loaded the Madrid Aerosoft scenery it went down to 2.5 FPS which is just ludicrous because I can get 30 FPS WITH traffic at EGLL using Aerosoft scenery... im uninstalling the Madrid scenery now.

I even changed ALL the FSX settings to low while taxiing to the gate and it made NO difference. :|

Tonight, jetEngland is announcing it's lively to the public.
Little Information about the airline:
The airline will be based in the United Kingdom with it's fleet of aircraft ranging from Boeing 737s to the mighty Boeing 747. Our routes will be worldwide! As you can tell from the shots below, our first painted aircraft is the Boeing 767. The repaint will be for the payware 'Level D' model for now, although we are hoping to release it on a freeware model very soon. I would like to remind you all that jetEngland is still in the making stages and the livery still needs improvements.
